If only all questions could be answered... Trust that there is a plan in place. Sometimes it is hard to accept and understand what that plan is, especially during times of loss and extreme pain. Be patient, be open-minded, be forgiving, and know that everything will be okay.
Easier said than done! How often do we zone out during a commute or drive, workout or even conversation with internal clutter and noise? #Counseling can be your #place to learn #techniques to #quiet your #mind 🙌🏼
Our bodies are very smart. 💪🏻Sometimes they take a minute to catch up to the griefs we've experienced but they always remind us to pause and really feel through the hand we've just been dealt.
I see a season of rest and self-care coming up for me soon. What's coming up for you? 💚 #shelbyforsythia
Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year is celebrated tonight. 🍷
It marks the beginning of a sweet, healthy, successful, and prosperous year.💐
It's an opportunity to take inventory of things you are thankful for and change things that are not working as well as you hope for.🦋
So I wish you Shana Tova and a joyous Rosh Hashana.🎉
What are you thankful for?

You are their rock and he/she is your anchor or vice versa. You silently cheer, help and support him/her on through life. No earthly element, no mountain, no ocean is too vast to stop pure authentic love. Time has a way of perfecting pure love. Lastly love never fails.
Take a minute to boost your mood today:
Think of 3 things you're grateful for.
Sing along to the radio.
Put on lotion.
Use essential oils.
Text or call a friend to say hi.
Take a picture if something beautiful.
Read some jokes.
Recall a happy or funny memory.
Theses things can be done anytime anywhere. Take a moment to take care of yourself!
Heather Kelly lost it in the bread aisle. 🍞 Four months after being terminated out of the blue she started crying during a normal trip to the grocery store. That day marked her moment of Coming Back, where she asked her best friend to hold her accountable for her emotional drinking, started examining the story she was telling herself about her job loss, and putting her anger and insecurity in its place.

Happily celebrating sexuality this week since it's #biweek !
Guess what peeps? Sexuality is not about inclusivity- sexuality is fluid and bisexuality is 100000% sexually and mentally normal and healthy!
Because bisexuality is often seen as being "confused", many people who have a bisexual sexuality have a higher risk of struggling with addiction, depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation and a number of other mental health concerns.
By bringing awareness to the fluidity of sexuality, we help reduce the stigma towards bisexuality and mental illness in that community.
Be who you are. Love who you want to. It's just sexuality! 🍑❤️🍆✌️
Today is another first day on a new journey for me: today I start my master's program on my way to becoming a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Seattle University. I'm both excited and nervous, but know helping people is really my calling. Send good vibes my way today!
As a Coach/Mentor there is no greater feeling than, when you get to watch people grow and come into their own.
I met this young lady when she was a teenager and today she is a 30 something single mom with a masters degree and she's crushing it 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
Tune in tonight for #WeAllNeedSomeHelp Wednesday as I interview my friend @missdymeo LIVE on my Facebook.com/glennpbrooksjrllc page #LinkInBio 👈🏿👈🏿👈🏿
Her story will inspire you, encourage you, and give you hope that regardless of your circumstances it's possible to position yourself to win! #WeAllNeedSomeHelp
A woman recently came in for a walk in pregnancy test. She shared she had been in an emotionally abusive relationship for years. In the midst of that relationship, she came to a point where she had to decide to continue in the relationship or to take her newborn and other children and leave.
After choosing to leave the unhealthy relationship, she began to experience postpartum depression. It was during that time, a Christian neighbor befriended her and started visiting on a daily basis. The client had no faith affiliation or background, but was encouraged by her neighbor's constant prayers and visits. She told our social worker she would not have made it through her experience if it were not for that neighbor.
During the appointment, our social worker saw God's protection and providence over this client's life. He has not only placed a neighbor in this client's life who demonstrated God's kindness through constant visits, but also led this client through a Google ad to First Care where she can not only find the pregnancy related resources and services she needs, but also receive emotional and spiritual support as she is pointed towards Christ's love through our unique services.
