I enjoy seeing couples that keep the ‘flirting’ alive 🙌🏼 Plus, a little booty grab from your partner can be nice right?
TIP: The more playful you are during your session the better! It give the image an authentic feel like this one^. It’s better to be over the top then too shy! Yes, it is awkward to have someone take your photos at times but if you want amazing photos just embrace the uncomfortably for a couple hours :) you’ll have the memories forever anyways.
So love seeing my clients weddings featured on my favourite wedding blogs! Today's is Rebecca & Nick's tipi garden wedding at @wasingpark over on @festivalbrides 😍😍 so many great suppliers all carefully chosen to make the perfect day!
I think this is my favourite perfume to photograph, such a pretty bottle 💕 With scent so closely linked to memories, your wedding day perfume will transport you back to your big day for years to come, so choose wisely!
Just sent over @andreeaanderson gallery and I’m just loving all the different tones! There were three different moods portrayed in her session and I was way nervous at first but I am now feeling settled on my decision. It gives the gallery a sense of feeling and that’s what I’m all about. Thanks again @andreeaanderson for loving my art. Xoxo ✨ Go check out my story for more of her gallery!!
Ben & I recently got to take part in this amazing styled shoot in the beautiful town of York in the Wheatbelt. Being from Toodyay we LOVE this region and all it has to offer - and did I mention it has some AMAZING vendors as well!!
Thanks to the lovely ladies of the @wheatbeltcollective

#THIS IS US. Its hunniesss birthday in one hour !! I have sooo many exciting things planned tomorrow. He is worth celebrating and more! I love this man and our gorgeously messy marriage. Thanks for being the best husband. You are patient, kind and always empathetic. Love you bb and I cannot wait to spoil you all day. You are worth every penny and intention. 🤘🏽
My friend @megbrookephotography took these ❤️
Was admiring my lovely friend Abbe's hat just the other day, which she said was from her uncles hat company, a factory in Wellington that hand makes hats, and is the last of its kind in Australasia. Just connected the dots that the amazing hats featured in the beautiful Modernist Country Bride shoot are from @hillshatsnz too 💭💭💭

Hope you all are having a stellar week. We’re still on house arrest trying to kick this nasty cold. Looking forward to getting back to work on more 2018 designs!!
All of my Christmas decor are down except for the fairy lights around the windows. They shall remain there and whenever I feel like it, I will turn them on and sit in their subtle glow. (That's me, the rebel! 😂) I love the use of fairy lights, and especially for outdoor wedding receptions like this one from @bhldn or for any outdoor event as they automatically make everything feel so magical, special and pretty. --📷 @bhldn --

All this gloomy wintry weather is making me feel the need for some colourful florals! Shot almost a year ago on a chilly winter’s day in North Yorkshire, here’s a rich and elegant bouquet design by @beamsleyblooms which I love! We were on location @goldsborough.hall creating The Diary of a Country Bride editorial shoot and this was right at the end of the day when the winter light was dipping but that gave me the perfect mood for this image with
Confession moment // a photographer is so much more than someone who snaps photos. We spend hours at coffee shops staring at our screen trying to get all our edits done. We always have a million things on our mind. We are our own marketing team, customer service team, accounting team, and our own advocating team. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes. We take 20+ hours of work time for a wedding between editing, contracts, client meet ups, and hours at location. We do a whole lot that goes unnoticed. Be kind to photographer, be kind to their crazy schedules. Most of us work two jobs while we're transitioning into full time. We tend to feel like we're going nuts but people that support our art make it all worth it!!
