What's YOUR biggest pet peeve?? I'm super crabby right now as I'm trying to quit caffeine... and my pet peeves are driving me extra crazy because of it!
I'm the sort of person who parks at the very back of the parking lot. No... I don't really have a nice car... I've just had too many run ins where people park way to close OR we leave the store at similar times and I have to wait for them to pack their entire car before I can even get in mine. BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER WHERE I PARK. I could be the only car in sight and it seems like someone always parks directly next to me 😂. I just want to curl up in bed until I've kicked caffeine... it's safer for everyone that way.
#OceanFortnight dives into the alien world of warm-water coral reefs! 🌊 This porcelain crab is gathering food on this reef using those big fan-like appendages - kind of like ordering a take-away, you sit back, relax, and let the food come to you! 🍣🍤#LivingTheDream 🦀 Coral reefs like this are amongst the most biodiverse places in the world, and not only feed animals like this cheeky chap, but provide protein to millions of people in tropical countries 🎣 and are crucial parts of their economies, providing up to 2/3rds of foreign earning in places like the Seychelles and Maldives 🐠🦈🦑🐬 In fact, hundreds of millions of people worldwide depend on coral reefs, as they also act as natural barriers protecting coastal residents, villages, and businesses from storm surge and erosion 💪 Conserving reefs is clearly important, but they're threatened by an increasing array of problems - especially climate change, unsustainable fishing, and pollution. It's a good job we've got so many awesome organisations working around the clock to help protect them! Keep up the great work @oceana @ocean @oceanconservancy @coral_org @coralrestorationfoundation @coralguardian 🎉🤙
