@cuttysarkwhisky -named for the historic ship, Cutty Sark is a blend that's been around since 1923. It has whisky from Glenrothes at its core along whisky from all over Scotchland to give a rounded blend with little bit of smoke
Bonnie Clyde Blended Scotch Whisky-A whisky to be cherishe, deep in the Highland Glen's of Scotland, where crisp air and pure water are constant companions, the legend of huntsman Captain John Thompson and his two famous dogs, Bonnie and Clyde linger on: as does the light, drying taste of the remarkable whisky named after him.
@clancampbell-Clan Campbell whisky contains at least 30 percent malt of which majority is Speyside malts with Aberlour being a major contributor. Smooth and creamy taste, slightly spicy-sweet. Fresh and fruity. A long, soft warming finish.

Welcome to #AmaroWeek . This great campaign is put on by Mike @mmydrinks, and celebrates all things amaro. For starters, amaro is defined as a bittersweet liqueur, which is typically of Italian origin. However, more and more amari are being made from all over the world. Amari are typically enjoyed after meals, in order to aid with digestion (a digestif), but who's keeping track anyways? The bitterness comes from a mix of herbs, roots, flowers, bark, citrus peels, or other such ingredients. Some common amari you may have encountered in the wild include Campari, Aperol, or Fernet Branca, among others. There exists mind-boggling amounts of amari varieties, and I'm excited to delve deeper into amaro culture as the week goes on.
As much as I love creating my own cocktail recipes, I must admit that I have very little experiencing in designing cocktails which include amari. So to start off, I'll be deferring to a recipe that was brought to my attention by @mmydrinks himself. This recipe beautifully highlights the flavour of the Cynar. For the blended scotch, I opted for Monkey Shoulder (@monkeyshoulder3). For the Islay, I used Laphroaig Quarter Cask (@laphroaig). I couldn't get enough of the smokey tones that the Laphroaig lends to the drink. The Quarter Cask is the first bottle of Islay I've purchased for myself, and I love its almost "BBQ-like" smoke. Here's to a great week ahead!
Amazing cocktails over a great meal... the Jewel of Denial! Gin, grapefruit-vanilla cordial, lemon, and pastis with a fennel frond garnish. Delicious!! @thewalrusbar gets it every time... @animalvinny @sarahhendler @kevindotolo 🙌🏻

Have you ever tried a starka vodka? Neither had I until I was gifted this beautiful bottle of @karvencraftdistiller vodka. Rich in history, it was traditionally made in Poland and Lithuania when a child was born. The father of the family would fill a large oak barrel with homemade rye grain vodka, seal it with beeswax and bury it, not to be unearthed again until the day of the child's wedding. .
@karvencraftdistiller has made their own glorious version, infused with manuka honey and NZ botanicals like Kawakawa. This is like nothing I have ever tasted before and I highly recommend you get your hands on some 🍸👌🐝
Currently working to do a sort of inverted version of @jacob._______iiiiiii A Barrel Bouquet that he made for the CoAuthored event held by @templedistilling . Rather than having ingredients be individually barrel aged separately, I'm looking to take all of the spirits in their straight form, and age then together in a former bourbon barrel. Still have a ways to go on correcting the flavor profile for some of my particular spirit choices, but I'm excited for what comes out of the oak next month. .
We are excited to be participating in #AmaroWeek with @mmydrinks and @amaroweek. This variation on a Paper Plane was mixed up by @emoarmenian at @TheSaratogaSF and includes equal parts Old Potrero Whiskey, @LuxardoUSA Amaro Abano, Aperol, and lemon juice. 📸: @cindyloughridge
