Dug deep into the archives and found one of my first portraits from University. It was an exercise in copying an old master's work. Learning their techniques that used glazing to colour. I am ashamed to say I don't remember which old master I copied.. Any ideas?

I have to say, this was one of the more physically and mentally challenging art experiences I’ve ever had – and it really pushed me creatively (in a good way).
I don’t think I’ve ever painted so fast or so intensely (including the September 30-in-30). Talk about chasing the light! But I look forward to painting en plein air again, soon. Real soon.

After realizing that all the women I have painted had their eyes closed or covered I decided it was time to challenge myself and open up my eyes. Painted live with @rosa_yoga_ and class at @yogafit_northeast namaste!
It usually takes me up to a week to complete a painting. I wanted to challenge myself and try to finish a painting in a day. I took a time lapse to document the process. It was really hard to create something decent in that time and it took a lot of prolonged concentration but I’m really happy with the outcome.

Do you think self-marketing is fun as well? I'm on my way to be more confident and enthusiastic about that. .
🤓 It was so deep in my education to be modest and shy. So just now I'm realizing how controversial it is when you start to do any business.
