There’s no place like home... one of my first loves in life was musical theatre 🎭 perhaps I should have followed the yellow brick road! I still absolutely adore theatre productions and thoroughly enjoyed tonight’s production. Our world is full of so much talent and it never stops amazing me. Follow your dreams, even if it’s not what was planned for you. #wizardofoz#andrewlloydwebber#brisbane#qpac#cremornetheatre
In just three short days, the Musical Theatre cohort have put together an incredible cabaret at the Cremorne Theatre. Coaching them is an all-star team of guest artists, featuring Broadway performer Liz Callaway, musical director Alex Rybeck, and Australian actress Sharon Millerchip. For one night and one night only, they will perform a collection of old and new musical theatre pieces sure to make you laugh, cry, and everything in between.
Hanging out with Frank at the @brisbanefestival before going to see Kaleidoscope at the Cremorne Theatre @atqpac.
Tonight I am going to step into Ethan’s world and experience the joy of walking through shafts of colour and light - a dazzling kaleidoscope.
Ethan was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome when he was four. Because of this syndrome, he perceives everything around him differently and wonderfully. Ethan understands the world through touch, sensing his surroundings with the pads of his fingers and the tips of his toes.
Kaleidoscope allows Ethan to express himself through a physical form he loves – circus. He is joined onstage by five circus performers and together they explore the colour, chaos and incredible beauty of his world through acrobatics, slapstick, music, movement and vibrant video projections.
This pic sums up the atmosphere of the opening night of Noises Off, a comedic masterpiece of a play within a play. Brilliant cast & laughs galore. Queensland Theatre productions just keep getting better & better. With fun friends @hushhush_biz & @millyzu. #queenslandtheatre#noisesoff#cremornetheatre#funtimes
Last night I made sure Fox's water bowl was topped up and all the sharp implements were up high and out of reach because, da na na... it was time for pre-Fox husband and wife time! Catch ya later little dude, we are outta here!
We hung out with some expert hoofers for some caffeine-fuelled, double espresso tap shananigans (the latter was me in the car park showing off my moves in an extravagant courting ritual that David Attenborough would have been amazed by).
We're on a Billboard in BrisVegas 🤘🏽 @untappedshow @kieranheilbronn @owainkennair @martintkay @genesisbeatbox @katie_s03 @ginwhit

ChickPea met a monkey today. Hanuman the Monkey to be exact- and she (and all the kids in the audience) got to go on the stage with him- so pretty much all life goals are now ticked off 🐵✔️. We all loved this production today- absolutely fab cast from Singapore (the piano playing narrator was particularly great) and folktales are such a beautiful story form. If you've not yet decided on productions for Out of the Box, highly recommend this one. #cremornetheatre#atqpac#qpac#outoftheboxfestival2016#singaporetheatre#folktales#outofthebox
