If you're anything like me, you want to know what you're getting before you get it. 🌟 I'm 44, married, no human children. I have a 2 yr old Bernese Mountain Dog , a fat orange cat, and a fluffy black cat. They all have their own personalities and I love nothing more than spending time with them. 🌟 I'm a stress eater and I like to eat my feelings. 🌟 I hit my "bottom" twice before I did anything about it. 2014 was a shitty year. My mom had brain surgery followed by chemo and radiation. My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and died in August of that year. We didn't end well and I'll carry that until it's my time to go. I lost my 6 yr old Berner, Mustang, in November. I probably gained about 20 lbs that year. Bottom one was October 2015. I was back on Weight Watchers having no success and my doctor wanted me to go on diabetes meds. Nope. That's when I started the 21 Day Fix. My hubby fell and shattered his wrist just before Christmas 2015. Everything hit me at that moment. I was depressed, suffering anxiety, eating all the time, drinking way too much soda. June 2016 we went to Hawaii for our 10th anniversary. I was at my heaviest, 280, and I was miserable. That was my second bottom. 🌟 I had gastric bypass in December 2016. It wasn't a decision I made lightly and it certainly hasn't been an easy road. I make it look easy (or try to anyway). 🌟 I have a full time job so coaching is not about money for me. I became a coach as a way to pay it forward. When I build my team and am able to coach full time - I'll be able to help even more people and that's my dream. 🌟 I'll give you everything I can when you join me and do whatever I can to help you succeed. 🌟 I love Elvis and wish I could have seen him live just once. Sadly, he died when I was 4 yrs old. My mom was so upset that it's a moment I'll never forget. 🌟 I'm obsessed with Outlander (books and TV series). My cousin and I have talked about running away to Scotland to find Sam Heughan (Jamie Fraser). Yes, we know we have issues.
My next challenge is starting soon. My journey isn't just about losing weight. It's about getting fit and healthy and giving back.
Let's do this together.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Krista. I work in agricultural research at the University of Manitoba. In my spare time I love to crochet. I find the repetition of stitches to be very soothing and relaxing. Here's a selfie of me sporting my very first triangle scarf! #crochet#crochetshawl#grannysquare#weemousecreations
#crochet work in progress heart blanket. I worked out the pattern myself and then didn't follow it. The left side of the heart is longer than the right. This is about 34 rounds and i will complete it up to 40 rounds using another colour.
