If you want to use your hooks to create beautiful things while also touching the lives of those around you, we should have coffee (and by “coffee”, I mean a big fat hot chocolate). I strongly believe there are no coincidences, and each of us have been perfectly placed by God to impact the world around us in a way that only WE can. Each of us have our own powerful stories, and each of us have experienced character-defining moments that have rocked us to our core (you know, the stuff that made us cry uncontrollably until enough time passed for us to move on).
I don’t know what your stories are, but if you’re anything like me, you know there would be nothing worse than forgetting them and living a mediocre life. Where is the passion we felt in our teen years?! Where is that fire we used to feel after reading the Bible or attending a sermon? What happened to our hearts - how did they get so hard? —
As afraid as I am to write this, I want to change that, beginning with myself. I’m not even sure what that change will look like, but I know it involves one hook, two needles, and my two hands.
Who’s with me? 😙✊️🙌💓
Pictured is a very blurry Sorda Panda whose pattern I’m FINALLY ready to write up, as well as Justine’s bear for #ToysForSyrianRefugeeChildren (if you haven’t heard of this movement already, PLEASE go check out @chubbyknots_crochet for more details)
Day 5 of the #jointhecrochetrevolution 7 days of crochet. Why I love to crochet. It's so rewarding seeing my work in action. Really grateful for the lovely feedback and for sharing your beautiful photos💕it keeps me going!
Losing my crojo recently so I'm trying to bring it back with little projects 😁... seeing as the weather in England has been rubbish this summer I thought I may as well start on some hats for my little ones.
