Creeptober Day 21: SCP 682 (SCP Foundation)
The SCP Foundation is a government organization that aims to contain potentially dangerous objects and odd creatures. One of the creatures contained there is a intelligent, reptilian monster simply known as “682” or “The Invincible Beast”. This monster is one of the monster dangerous creatures to ever walk the earth, as it has the ability to evolve almost instantly to adapt to a new environment or situation. This includes growing new limbs or any kind of body part, immunity to any other hazardous material, and regenerate at an alarmingly fast rate. He is kept in a containment enclosure that’s filled with acid, which he swims in much like a crocodile. (Note: despite them being similar in appearance, he’s not a Seedeater. 682 is a reptile, Seedeaters are mammals)

Can I be a #crocodile today? #goodmorning#typhoon#japan#Repost @natgeo (@get_repost)
Video: @andy_mann // @paulnicklen getting up close and personal with a large American Crocodile during a sunset thunderstorm in Gardens of the Queen, Cuba. Paul and I worked together to capture this unique perspective in the mangroves until well after dark. Pushing our creative boundaries through lighting, floating 30 pound cameras at split level & choosing difficult working conditions all paid off in these unforgettable scenes. Team work makes the dream work, they say, and I'm lucky to be surrounded with passionate filmmakers and photographers @natgeo @sea_legacy who raise each other up and work tirelessly to create stories with impact. #Turningthetide with @cristinamittermeier, @samkretch, @andy_mann, @mdalio and @iankellett_story // Please #followme @andy_mann to see more from this amazing expedition, casting a light on the Caribbean's healthiest marine ecosystem.
