Every single movement you or your partner must be carrying the turkey (medball). In the run, the lunges, the partner throw sit-ups and the partner squat ball throws. If you drop the turkey, gotta drop and give us 10 burpees! Can't wait to see you all!!!
Monday night spin class! 🚴🏼♀️ Class flies by every Monday & I leave feeling refreshed, shhhweaty, and happy (with some soreness mixed in there too). It was a fun way to kick off a new week 💃🏼 Hope you all had a happy Monday!
Being short on time should never be an excuse! Whatever you lack as far as time you can make up for in intensity with the time you have.
-10 minute warmup(Jump Rope & ROM)
-3 cycles 30/15 intervals with 30 seconds rest between cycles
-Double KB Squat
-Double KB Cossack Squat
-Double KB Forward Lunge
-Double KB Swing
-Single KB DL/Goblet Squat Jump
-5 minute cool down(Static Stretching)
My frustration level is growing. I had to drop out of tap last November because of a foot injury, and I’m struggling to regain lost ground. Certain moves (turns on the diagonal!) which had been easy before just aren’t coming back. My Balance is off, and changing direction is a whole lot trickier than it used to be. Big sigh. I keep reminding myself to be patient. I was out for over six months, and my body changed in that time. I keep going anyway! #yesican#tapdance#crosstraining#persistence#tapshoes
You know how I know I’m out of shape? I literally broke a sweat and got tired trying to wrestle my sports bra on. I mean c’mon guys! That’s pretty bad. I got even more of a wake-up call in @carmelfoodtour’s #barre class where I was literally sweating and shaking during the warm-up. THE WARM-UP! Ugh. 🤦🏻♀️ If ever I needed something to smack me in the face and motivate me to get my a$$ back into a regular workout/running routine, this was it. Thanks for the killer workout as always, Staci! I’ll try not to eat my feelings about being out of shape with all the 🌮🌮🌮
I went to a hot yoga class @corepoweryoga then an hour later to a free class today @citycycleseattle because it was a new instructor. I liked her music and was definitely sweating! I for sure need to "fall into fitness", I feel so out of shape lately! I will have to take a class with @laurentaylorperry next time, she's my fav 💕P.S. who's going to the free class at 7:15am on Wednesday and/or the lululemon event on Saturday at U-village?!
