Todays topic(by @drey_andersson): How to combine Marketing and Social Media with Music Making. Studio pic comes from @bs_musicstudio
Now how many of you just hate it to waste hours on social media with not getting work done in the studio or just being in a creative zone so that you don't want to open fb, twitter or Insta to make a new post?😕.... I know I do. Now my solutions:
✔️Schedule posts with apps like hootsuite that helps you to automate the posting of content on days when you're at the studio and don't want to be bothered with social media
✔️Create content for a whole week. Pick a day and invest a couple of hours in creating content, so you don't need to do the tedious tasks of research and content creation every day
✔️Pick a time when you're not in a creative zone to do music. For example if you don't make music in the morning pick this time to create content and take care of your social media channels
✔️Use an app like todoist to remind yourself that you need to create content for your IG page. I know how hard it is to post something when you're in a creative zone, so task manager apps can give you an extra push
✍🏼If you know any other hacks to combine music creation and marketing, let me know via comments.
Contemplating if working within the same project for multiple cues is the best approach. On one hand it’s easy to just keep rolling with the tracks and instruments loaded and simply build upon as I progress. This allows obvious continuity. On the other, maybe that stifles the creativity? Not sure. I guess it depends on the length of the project and how many cues make up the project.

🎧🎼One of my personal favorite cues from the upcoming documentary film Pharm To Table. I used a lot of voice samples in the score and this is written for a particularly emotional scene right when our walking hero loses his spirit for a brief time.
