Your time on the mat is to dive into your yoga experience.
To leave everything at the door and just come home to your body, to yourself.
To leave the demands and constraints of the outside world where they are, to full immerse yourself into your practise.
To cultivate the breath, to move the body into the physical asana using the breath.
Approach yourself without judgement or expectation and just allow your practise to unfold as it is meant to at that time.
YOGA IS NOT A COMPETITION to see who can do the fanciest poses or who has the most 'Likes' or 'Followers' on Instagram!
Yoga is about cultivating awareness, focus, discipline and self acceptance to bring ourselves into a higher state of consciousness 🌟
#EmotionalStamina 👉 #Whatdoyoudo when you’re having a rough day?
Maybe it starts the moment you wake up and you just don’t feel like doing your normal things? Or maybe it kicks in a little later in the day after a disappointment. Things aren’t going your way. What do you do?
Well, here’s a key lesson: We’ve gotta develop our #emotional#stamina —on those days when we feel the WORST, we need to be the MOST #committed to rockin’ our #fundamentals .
We’ve talked about this theme quite a bit over the years but I picked up that phrase “emotional stamina” from one of my early coaching sessions with Phil Stutz. He had complimented me on my emotional stamina (thanks, Phil!) and I asked him what he meant.
In short, he said that I bounce back from #challenges /setbacks quickly. He told me that we need to say this to ourselves as we #cultivate our #selfmastery : “I don’t feel good but I’m going to keep up with the #protocol . In fact, I am MOST avid about sticking with the protocol when it’s hardest.” Imagine that.
Imagine that you are MOST committed to doing the little things you know keep you plugged in when you LEAST feel like it.
The worse we feel, the more committed we are to doing the work.
Of course, all of this presupposes that we HAVE a protocol—that we know what we need to do to stay in peak mode.
So, two questions today:
1. What’s YOUR protocol?
2. What do you do when you hit a speed bump in life?
Let’s get really clear on what we need to do to stay ON & let’s remember to be most avid about rocking the protocol when we least feel like it.

I have become so much more than 'paper' the past two years. So I gave the website a little refresher. We will see how it unfolds. From my post: "This is a place for me to share the facets of me. It's like a sporadic journal of heart and mind, but with deep thought and meaningful intention. I pray you find encouragement, sympathy and wisdom of all sorts." 🖋📖
The full post:
Paper, Oils and Momming. It sounds prettier to say: Words, wellness and wisdom. The power of words. Helpful ways to wellness. And the wisdom I gained after my struggles. I want to share my love for people, art and words. I want to have a place where I can geek out and post about essential oils. I also need an outlet to tell my story with dark & light moments as a mama, hoping my experience and transparency will give another sympathy. This is a place for me to share the facets of me. It's like a sporadic journal of heart and mind, but with deep thought and meaningful intention. I pray you find encouragement, sympathy and wisdom of all sorts.
What if I told you that every time I have wanted a new job over the last 3 years, one has presented itself within 2 weeks, fitting the exact requirements I was asking for? Yep, 2 weeks. I sent my energy towards what I wanted, then I asked and believed and wham bam, thank you ma'am, the universe delivered! 🌟
Does that make you stop and think-- what am I sending my energy to right now? Does it make you feel good? If so, great! Do more of THAT! If not, don't beat yourself up! In fact, don't even tell yourself to stop doing whatever "that" is. Just replace it with something better.. something that DOES feel good.
Here is a really simple example. (Trust me, this can be super basic). I looked in my fridge today and instantly felt annoyed that I had nothing that would satisfy my craving. I acknowledged that was not a thought that FELT GOOD. I shifted. Instead, I thanked the universe for supplying me with nourishing food and energy. I suddenly went from this feeling of lacking to a feeling of abundance. IT CAN BE THAT SIMPLE.
Do I do this all day, every day? No, not yet. But even if you feel good and abundant for a tiny bit more of your day, isn't it worth it??? .
Just food for thought. 😘 Take what resonates with you and leave the rest. .
1. actually existing as a thing or occurring in fact; not imagined or supposed.⠀
2. not imitation or artificial; genuine.⠀
1. make (something) completely free from faults or defects, or as close to such a condition as possible.⠀
I don't know about you but after reading those two definitions, I feel like being real is as close to perfect as you get. 👌

"As a child grows up, they learn more and more about themselves - what they like and dislike, what they can and can't do well. If their unique identity is nurtured - if they are accepted for the person they are - they can grow up confident and competent, with healthy self-respect. However, if pressure is applied for them to conform to what their parents want them to be, they will grow up feeling inadequate and less sure of themselves."⠀
The key is for parents to discover and cultivate the uniqueness of each of their children.⠀
At the moments of climax or orgasm the mind becomes empty of thoughts. All thoughts drain out at that moment. And this emptiness of mind, this void, this vacuum, this freezing of the mind, is the cause of the shower of divine joy.
The Tantrikas (those who practice tantra) had the first insight that man’s sexual energy can be transformed easily. The only barrier is repression. If you repress it, then you cannot transform it.
The Maithuna Ritual is basically sex with complete attention, when one places high emphasis on the squeezing of the male and female Pc muscles, with practice you will be able to lay or sit with your partner fully connected, hardly moving except for the internal squeezing, this action brings waves of ecstatic orgasms, which travel up the spine to the brain, rapturous mind orgasm and complete unity is a common experience.
This is also termed the small death. And because of that small death in sex, there is so much release of joy in you. For a single moment you disappear, and that moment is the “climax”, the “orgasm”. In that single moment you don’t know who you are. In that single moment you are pure energy vibrating, pulsating. With no center to it, with no “ego” in it.
In that single moment of orgasmic space you lose all boundaries, separation. You become vast, huge. You are no more separate from the other. That’s why there is so much joy — although the moment is very small.
That moment can become very deep..., that moment can remain there for hours. That moment, once you know the art of remaining in it, can surround you for twenty-four hours. Tantra transforms sex.
Sex is is an experience of meditation. It is an instinctual return to our ultimate reality, one of the highest forms of meditation.
Tantra says: The appeal of sex is because it gives you a moment of egolessness, timelessness, meditation.
Real tantra is not technique but love. Is not technique but prayer. Is not head-oriented but a relaxation into the heart.
