The cardamon oil in our lab, adds an aromatic touch with warm, leathery tone. Perfect in combination with woody, citrus and to recreted the smell of tea...
The days have been drawing in so quickly - I swear when I've come out the gym after my lunchtime sessions this week its felt like its already getting dark. However.. beautiful sunsets make it OK! Loved the pastel sky during this sunset in Greenwich.

Starting the festive posting early because in exactly one month, I'm hopping on a plane to spend Christmas in Cape Town and I need to get my fill of the festive period before I go! Starting with a classic, understated look from @ivychelsgarden... I think this year's addition of multi-coloured sequins really adds to the 'subtle' look that these guys were evidently going for... #tralalalala#christmasinlondon#christmasiscoming 🎄
Good evening all! It's almost that time again... join us tomorrow for our next Open Lab session, where you can experiment with our full collection of ingredients! Doors will be open 1-8pm. There's still time to book a place over on the website 🤗

"That was a memorable day to me, for it made great changes in me. But it is the same with any life. Imagine one selected day struck out of it, and think how different its course would have been. Pause you who read this, and think for a moment of the long chain of iron or gold, of thorns or flowers, that would never have bound you, but for the formation of the first link on one memorable day.” ― Charles Dickens, Great Expectations

#ilovemyjob I've decided to start posting more about this random, special job that I get to do for the City of London - Yesterday I spent the afternoon at the #OldBailey Central Criminal Court of England and Wales with the current Sheriffs, lunching with the Recorder and our country's finest judges, and seeing a case tried first hand.
"Without question, perfume-making with EPC was my favourite [out of the 52 experience I did this year, editor's note], it's the one I've always gone to when people have asked me what I've loved throughout the year"
Jo, experience aficiando from LondonLearnNew52, designer of Eleven, made in Holborn, London.
#ilovemyjob The new Bloomberg building opening reception - After now spending almost a year of my life representing the City of London and defending our position as a world leading financial centre in the wake of the Brexit vote, I couldn’t have been prouder listening to Michael Bloomberg express his commitment to our great, unique and historic corner of London. The building is truly impressive, as is the business’ founder. #Didyouknow that as Mayor of New York City, Michael Bloomberg accepted only $1 a year as salary? #classact

| Ingredient Series | Cedarwood - The oil is obtained from this coniferous tree (native to the Himalayan and Mediterranean mountains). It has a distinctive woody, spicy-resinous scent, often described as the smell of pencil shavings, making a mystical and intriguing base note. The tree can grow up to 30-40 meters, which is lucky for us as the bark, foliage and roots is where we obtain the delicious piney smell. It combines particularly well with citrus and spicy notes and is traditionnally a favourite for male scents (but we don't like giving a gender to ingredients!).
This is what I wish I WAS having for lunch. I’m not. It’s all very glamorous in my world this morning - I’ve done a recce to the post office, a load of laundry, hoovered the flat and dissolved an entire bathtub full of packaging nuggets (don’t know what I’m on about? See my story). ☕️ #attackoftherainbownuggets
