🎶I like London in the rain
With umbrellas in the rain
Feel the couples arm in arm
London drizzle has its charm
Winds are blowing
Lights are glowing
I like London in the rain
it's like mirrors in the rain
Turn the city upside down
Of the town
How I fancy misty hours
On a rainy thoroughfare
I like London with umbrellas

I was fortunate to see this beautiful memorial to Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed when we visited Harrod’s in November. Sad it will be leaving. Hopefully the replacement will be a beautiful tribute. -
According to “British media, including The Times and the BBC... Harrods, the luxury London department store and tourist destination, is reportedly planning to remove a memorial to Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed...the bronze statue will be returned to Dodi’s father, Mohammed Al Fayed, the Egyptian tycoon who previously owned Harrods... The businessman commissioned the bronze statue depicting his son and Diana dancing after the two were killed in a Paris car crash in 1997.
The statue was installed in 2005 remained at Harrods after the Qatari royal family bought the store in 2010.
The news reports quoted Harrods managing director Michael Ward as saying that with a new Diana statue planned for Kensington Palace, it is the right time to return the one at the store to Al Fayed.” #ChowChick
Might be grey & cold (like seriously could have done with a hat) but still perfect for an afternoon walk and some time to explore 💜 Had a 'Me' day today - Spin class, breakfast at Gail's Bakery & an afternoon exploring North London. A lovely day escaping reality and taking in my surroundings 💜 You can find more from today on my Insta story.
Really enjoying cooking at the moment so haven't eaten out in ages (my bank balance is certainly thanking me) but definitely need to check out some more restaurants soon - where are you loving at the moment?! 🍴
It's hard to think how many of us live in the same city, doing our things, and now come across each other and become a tiny dot in each other's life. I don't know how many joy and sorrow can a city swallow; maybe London has a big appetite too. If you are feeling upset I hope there is always something or someone here to smooth you. Goodnight Londoners. Too many gibberish and sorry about non-food photos.a bit emotional n nostalgic tonight. Unfollow if u want. And no filters
