Needles Highway in South Dakota is a must see. It’s located within Custer State Park. The road is super curvy and honestly quite thrilling with “tunnels” like the one above 👆🏼. There are plenty of pull offs and scenic overlooks throughout and thank god for that because these views leave you speechless. #SkatingThruTheStates

Our next adventure takes us along this path. We will be flying to Los Angeles and will head down to Dana Point for some whale watching before driving the California coast up to San Francisco to see the a Golden Gate Bridge. Then we will head to Death Valley National Park Before swinging east to Reno, Nevada. From there we will head to Las Vegas and the Hoover Dam. Then we will head into Arizona to see the Grand Canyon and then head north into Utah to Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, and Arches Park. After Utah we head east to Grand Junction, CO. After that it’s on White River National Forest, Breckenridge, and Denver. From Denver we swing north through Wyoming to check out Devils Tower cliffs and will then head east again into South Dakota to see Custer State Park and Mount Rushmore. We may make a stop in Sioux Falls before heading into the final stretch to Minneapolis to the Mall of America and then over to the Wisconsin Dells before finally ending up back in Chicago for the BEST ROAD TRIP EVER!
