Fully kitted out for my 20min commute to work 😂 I wanted to give a quick review of these new @rideshimano S-PHYRE shoes I got last week. I have to say they are fantastic. Very light, very comfortable and also breathable. The Boa dials make it really simple and easy to make quick adjustments even while on the bike. I'd never used Shimano pedals before now either and the cleats I'm using are the blue ones which are a lot stiffer than the Look setup I had before. My feet don't move around as much and I can really feel the power doing through the pedals. @360cycles helped me setup the cleat position based on my pedal stroke and natural foot position and it makes all the difference and can help to avoid injury. Highly recommend anyone who hasn't had their shoes properly setup to invest in that. Also, upping my sock game today thanks to @fingerscrossed.design 👌I hope everyone is having a great week. 🚴♀️👍
Life behind handlebars no. 590 - The Copenhagen Summer.... is not here 🌇🏡🛣🚴🇩🇰 #behindhandlebars @gopro ___________________________________________________ Back in Copenhagen where the weather is really not like in this shot... In fact, we haven't had a single real summer day in the whole of July! 😩 Glad I've been out of the country for the most part! 🙌🌇
You know, you are your worst enemy. You can get yourself down like no one else can. But you can also find strength that your didn't know you had and push through the resistance.
Getting my butt over that line was harder than I expected. Being on my own for most of the stage was incredibly frustrating. No one to chase, no one to take turns with in the wind. Just me and the road. And it hurt. #pedallikeagirl
