Week 12 day 1:
And the name of the game tonight is: Gratitude: #transformationtuesday
I have no clue how much I weighed in the picture on the left but when I first saw it I thought to myself, holy smokes I gotta lose weight.
I can only assume I was around 310-315lbs or so. I never checked. It wasn't until I had lost a few lbs by having shakes at night instead of food that I finally weighed myself and I weighed in at 302lbs.
So finally after a few weeks of just trying through diet control, I finally had the opportunity to give it my all. And give it my all I did.
After 11 weeks of hard work I have lost 40 lbs.
The last couple of weeks my weight has gone up and down as I keep losing fat but putting on muscle.
So I talked to my trainer @junco_jr last week and he changed up my diet a bit by reducing my max calorie intake by 1200 calories.
At first I was a bit afraid that I would be hungry or out of energy, but I redid my macros and trusted the process.
I wasn't hungry or out of energy by the end of the week and I managed to lose another 4lbs.
This week I will continue my diet and hopefully see some good results next week.
Beyond myself and my progress, I am grateful that I can participate in my kids' school book fair. It's amazing to see so many kids excited about books.
My son and his classmates were so excited to see me and they kept running up to me and asking me questions about the books. My son got a new Lego Batman book and he got a Ninjago poster.
I will be assisting the book fair all week long for a couple of hours in the morning and all day on wed. It is an honor and a privilege to be able to be there for my kids and for that I am very grateful.
Also I am grateful that I get to go build bikes Wednesday night that will be given away to 50 boys and girls in December.
Of course to all of you wonderful people who encourage me and help me stay positive thank you, your kind words and encouragement along with your visits really mean a lot to me. I mean that. I am happy whenever I see a familiar face that is there specifically to see me, it brings me great joy. I hope to pay that back by being there for you.
Thank you everybody!
#transformationtuesday 🙌🏼 Yes I do have teeth, although you may not see them much 🤷🏻♀️ I got picked on & bullied all through school because I had a gap in my from teeth. So for around 17 years I tried not to show them. I avoided school photo day and refused to smile in any family photos. So now when I take photos it's a natural reaction not to smile. Now I rock my gap like many of the top celebrities like Georgia May Jagger, Lara Stone & the Queen deva herself Madonna. Own your flaws, don't let other people tell you what's acceptable. They probably need to take a long hard look at themselves in the mirror before dishing it out to others 👊🏼#flawsome#stayawesome#selflove
