A common question I am asked is "how do you keep your hair color so bright and fresh?" So, first, I do a bleach bath on my roots probably once a month. It's less harsh than a full bleach because my natural color is a mid-tone Auburn, but it's still not great for my hair. Right after the bleach I dye my hair - I put Manic Panic's Vampire Red on it and I leave it overnight. I sleep in a shower cap and a towel.
Secondly, I re-utilize my empty dye bottles. Inevitably when I finish up a bottle of dye, there's leftover color inside I can't get out, along the edges and such.
Pictured: on the left, a bottle of pure dye half full. On the right, is the bottle I finished last night, but there was a ton of color left that I couldn't get out. So I filled that bottle with conditioner (pictured behind), and shook it up. Now I have dyed conditioner.
I don't use shampoo on my hair. I rinse it, sometimes with a vinegar/water mix, and then I use this dyed conditioner after (daily). It deposits just a refresh of color. It also dyes my shower liner and my towels after, so I recommend towels in the same color as the dye.
That's how I keep my color fresh.

You with the sad eyes
Don't be discouraged
Oh I realize......
Its hard to take courage
In a world full of people
You can lose sight of it all
And the darkness inside you.....
Can make you feel so small..... But I see your true colors
I see your true colors....
And that's why I love you....
So don't be afraid to let them show
Your true colors
True colors are beautiful
Like a rainbow.....❤️ ❤️ 🎧
