We were so inspired after The Evolution of Artisan Cheese in America session at the @american_cheese_society conference that we came home and did a little Grande Dames of Goat Cheese tasting at the office. The stories of these amazing women and how they helped push the industry forward are nothing short of magnificent. We're grateful for @vermontcreamery, @capriolegoatcheese and @cypressgrovers for paving the way and making truly delicious cheeses for so many years. These beauties highlight how diverse the world of goat cheese is. They run the gamut of earthy, bright, creamy and crumbly. Favorite tasting description goes to Humboldt Fog and its zippy, key lime finish.
