I like to call this my ‘Beauty Smoothie’ because smoothie because it has lots of great ingredients that hydrate and nourish your skin!
1/2 cup frozen berries – full of antioxidants
1 large stalk of celery – super hydrating
Handful of baby spinach - contains vitamin K and folate, which helps reduce acne, bruising and dark circles
1/4 cup activated macadamia nuts – full of good fats which are great for your skin
1 cup coconut water – really hydrating and contains five essential electrolytes that are found in the human body (throw out the sugar Gatorade and swap it for coconut water)
1/2 cup coconut milk – also a GOOD fat
I also added in my two daily essentials Mana super food powder and Dr Cabot collagen powder (I notice a huge improvement in my skin when I take this every day!) You can get these (among other awesome healthy goodies) by clicking the link in my bio.
I tried my first plumcot, and now I'm obsessed. This Peachy Plumcot Smoothie is refreshing, naturally sweet, and full of vitamins, superfoods and antioxidants!! Mmmm here is my yummy breakfast. Chocolate banana 🍫🍌 loaded with protein and healthy fats. I've been trying something lately. I have focused less on weight loss and more on just eating healthy. When I don't allow myself to eat yummy healthy things the more likely I am to give in to food that makes me feel crappy. So I am trying to see this as less of a diet/weight loss/etc and more of eating what makes me feel goods. And treats make me feel good. So if eating fruit every day helps me to not want to "cheat" then so be it. Plus since I've changed my perspective my mind has been at more peace as well.

Healthy Keto Green Smoothie 🥛🥑 ½ medium avocado (75 g/ 2.6 oz)
½ cup fresh spinach (15 g/ 0.5 oz)
½ cup coconut milk - I like Aroy-D coconut milk (120 ml / 4 fl oz)
½ - ¾ cup water + few ice cubes
½ tsp vanilla powder or 1 tsp unsweetened vanilla extract
1 tbsp extra virgin coconut oil
2 tbsp Erythritol or 5-8 drops liquid Stevia extract
Optional: 1 tsp matcha powder (green tea powder)
Optional: plant-based protein powder (25 g / 0.9 oz) Halve the avocado and remove the seed. Place everything in a blender: scooped avocado flesh, spinach, coconut milk, water, vanilla, matcha (if used), Erythritol and coconut oil.
Add ice (if used) and pulse until smooth. Pour in a glass and enjoy!

When I was editing the photo for this smoothie bowl, I realized that it made me think of love. The strawberries, the colors, everything points to love.
At the end of the day, there is nothing more important than love and connection for me in my life - connection to all of you, connection to my partner and having his love, connection to myself, and connection to animals and nature/the planet.
Yesterday, I did this beautiful meditation by @richoceguera with music by the amazing @DTO, and it had me walking inside my heart. It was amazing. Perhaps it has opened my heart and now I have to let it out.
So let me tell you all - I love you and I am so grateful for you. You are the reason I do what I do. To share my knowledge with you, and to be a catalyst, or an inspiration for you to make your life healthier and rich with meaning and connection. <3

With so many "fast food" options that are just that... Fast 💨 ....but not healthy by any means..
I'm excited to see that my company has come out with a "fast food" for kids that is the opposite of everything we know to be true about fast food! 🍟🍔🙅🏻 With the childhood obesity epidemic on the rise, it's refreshing to see a company come out with a product for kids that is not also contributing to this epidemic! My kids got to try this out within a day or so of it being released and they LOVED it!! 👏🏻😃 This may be the answer to all of the snacking issues we have in this house! Lately all my daughter wants to do is snack in between meals, and sure I buy "healthier" options for snacks, but let's be real 💁🏻 veggie straws and cheddar bunnies truly are just filler foods. I would much rather my kids snack on fruits and veggies, but my daughter especially, is pretty picky and usually doesn't want those options. She's a lover of all things fruit but veggies are hard to get in! Her favorite word these days is "cookie" and can you blame her? After being dairy and soy free for the first 15 months of her life, the girl just wants some junk food! 😂 I let my kids have "junk food" from time to time, but 90% of the time I want my kids eating healthy snacks and meals. So this smoothie is like a salad too? Sure, why not. .
I have found the key to making delicious smoothies is just having the ingredients at your fingertips. Stock the basics and start blending to create the combinations that you ❤️. .
Monday Blues Smoothie:
A handful of spinach
1 cup of nondairy milk
1 scoop of plant based protein with greens
1 tbs Maca Powder
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
Any supplements you would like to add
Fill blender with water.
Blend, pour, enjoy! 😊

Happy Piña Colada day! Now unfortunately there's nothing seasonal about this drink (if you live in Canada), but it is quite refreshing on a hot summer day. I made the piña colada for my partner and put a twist on a Canadian version with rhubarb and a dash of maple syrup for myself. 🍹 Let's cheers to new summer adventures!
