A bright smoothie bowl for your Saturday morning 💛😉 1/2 a frozen banana // 2 frozen apricots // 1 cup of frozen cauliflower // 3/4 cup of hemp milk // 1 tbsp of cashew butter // 1/2 tsp of vanilla // sprinkled with roasted honey pumpkin seeds and walnuts 😋

3/4 frozen banana
3/4 fresh banana
1/8 cup cocoa powder
1/2 - 1 tbsp maple syrup
2 1/2 tbsp hot water
1/4 cup soaked & drained dates
1/2 cup peanuts or almonds
Blend the frozen & fresh bananas until smooth.
Mix together cocoa powder, maple syrup & hot water until silky smooth - the texture should be like melted chocolate.
Blend together dates & nuts of choice until you get a mix of finely ground, sticky clumps & bigger, crunchy pieces.
Transfer the "melted banana ice cream" into a bowl, pour over the chocolate sauce & sprinkle with "cookie dough" pieces.

If you've seen my insta-story, you'll have seen that I've been at home sick all day today with a strange illness that causes one to look like a bunny 🐰 Good news: no magic hat tricks here, I am indeed still a human 🎩 However, I have been tucked up in bed all day, watching Netflix in between feeling like poop, and for that I thought a little Chocolate, Coconut & Mint Smoothie would be just the remedy. And with the wave of my wand - erm, Nutribullet - I give you the recipe:
1 frozen banana
1 massive scoop plain coconut yogurt (approx 1/4 cup)
2 heaped tablespoons raw cacao powder
A couple drops of vanilla
6 mint leaves
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
*Put all ingredients in blender >> blend till smooth >> pour into favorite glass >> enjoy! (Brands I use tagged in picture) 💚💚💚

Some Carrot juice
You can add some banana and coconut cream for variation.
Papaya has proteolytic enzymes that aid in digestion and is cleaning up the blood from debris.

As summer heat heats up our tastes and bodies are ready to adapt to the new energy of the season. This smoothie is a great way to start the day. Ripple is my favorite dairy free milk for creamy smoothies like this. And yes, the name does remind me of the cheap wine from the 90s. This Ripple is made from pea protein! The pineapple is good for sore muscles. Pineapple Time Recipe=cucumber pinapple pear juice, ripple, a spoonful of almond butter, a bit of udos oil, fennel, cumin and coriander.
