Yes it is! 
But I present you with this question; Just what is it that you're TRAINING for?

Are you Training to be Lesser, Better or remain the same?

My guess is for everyone that's responded, the immediate answer is, "Of course, I'm Training to be Better!" And my hope is that that is the absolute truth.

Yet, I'll continue my line of questioning.

Are you Training Everyday to Hit The Ground Running with Energy & Enthusiasm? 
OR... Do you Hit the Snooze Button a couple of times so you can Ease into the day?

Are you Exercising & Making your Body Move Every Day? 
OR... are you Choosing, once again Today, to just wish and talk about how much weight you want to lose?

Are you Making an EFFORT  Every Day to Praise and Support your spouse or your children? 
OR... Are you assuming "They Know" without you saying so or expressing it?

Are you seeking New Information and pursuing an "Expert Status" Every Day on the topics of your Career Choice or Personal Interest ? 
Or... Are you content with simply showing up, putting the time in for The Day and then punching out? Just to do it all over the next day.

Know this... Whatever we do Repeatedly, We are TRAINING Ourselves to do more of that Thing!

Taking a few moments to reflect on the mechanics that were presented at this weekends Brown Level Combative Instructor Training!  The 6 hours of "Throwing Mechanics" on Day 1, proved to be quite physically taxing. The "Control Theory" allowed for numerous practical applications that can be used in various Safety & Security scenarios. And the Day 2 "Weapons Work," gave solutions & answers to the questions that Sticks, Knives, Firearms, Axes, Clubs, etc tend to ask. I want to say "Thank You" to the Instructor and to my training partners for elevating my combative intellect. Nevertheless , no matter the amount in which my knowledge increases, the evidence of just how much more there is to learn... Is Always Present.  So to those who permit me to be their Instructor or Trainer , I want you to know... I am Always a Student, First! *

This gym was old, with less than desirable equipment and located in a less than desirable area. It had no air conditioning and no rest room. Yet, it had this sign. This sign simply stated...
