10TH// NIKKI'S TANGO
well like I said for Jordan I don't really think tango is a great dance to have week 1 because it's hard to make it standout amongst dances where contestants get to show their personality more, but I think this was slightly more appropriate(?) for showcasing who Nikki is than what Jordan's was (not shading Jordan) but this tango was able to give us a slight glimpse into Nikki's world/where she's coming from still! I'm really excited for this partnership because she seems really excited to do the show, and I can't wait for future dances where she's more out of her comfort zone like a rumba or a Viennese waltz, because I think this show can be a great way for her to show different sides of her other than just being tough! I thought this tango was a pretty good week one dance, she managed to keep body contact and her frame and timing pretty decently, there's still some things she needs to improve on of course, but for a week 1 dance I have little complaints with this. I liked how Artem choreographed the body slam in at the end too 😅 #dwts#dancingwiththestars

9TH// FRANKIE'S FOXTROT
Frankie is just one of those contestants that I just find myself rooting for even if he didn't technically have the best dance of the night. He is embracing this experience and being really vulnerable with the audience with telling everyone how nervous he is ahhh. But I actually think he did quite well for having 0 experience, and I was pretty impressed with what he delivered. He lost it a couple times but for the most part managed to keep the body contact, and he was really going for the proper footwork and everything too. If we keep him in long enough (I hope!) I think we're really going to be able to see him grow and improve! I enjoyed Witney's choreo for this dance too, and thought it was a pretty beautiful dance :,) #dwts#dancingwiththestars
