And there goes 3 years! 💑 Three years of side-splitting laughter, food comas, epic adventures, and abuse. I'm grateful everyday that we both swiped right 😜 Little did I know that one tiny movement would change the entire course of my life. I'm so lucky to have someone who inspires and motivates me everyday, whether it's to simply get out of bed or to put the plans in motion to turn my dreams into a reality. Your belief in me and what we could be makes me feel invincible by your side. I wouldn't change anything about you, us, everything we've been through - the good, the bad, the ups, the downs - because we always come out of it even stronger and closer together. I love you @stefanocapizzi ❤️ #tbt#oldbutgold#tindercouple
On a less soppy note:
I'm super excited for this halloween weekend coming up!! Halloween has always been one of my favourite celebrations of the year - I love the dressing up, the possibility to be whatever I want, and the parties. Contemplating whether or not we should dress up for the Fiesta De Los Muertos concert...? 🤔💀🎃👻💛 #LetsFiesta @117live
I was a little bit obsessed with this beautiful blue-green dome of Frederik's Church in Copenhagen. And also, it matches my sunglasses. 😀
This church also know as the Marble Church is one of the most awe-inspiring churches in the city due to its magnificent rococo architecture. Unsurprisingly, not only is it highly photographed, it's also popular for wedding ceremonies.
Today, I've reached 600 followers (although this may fluctuate over the next few days, thanks instabots! 😤) and I wanted to introduce myself to those who are new! My name is Sierra and I am a freelance travel designer and founder of Creative Edge Travel. I help people have more meaningful vacations and #DiscoverAuthentic in Italy. I work with locals to build immersive experiences around whatever their passion is and we ask deeper questions to understand the beauty as well as the challenges in their lives. So it isn't just seeing pretty places, it's really understanding it from a local perspective! All off-the-beaten-path, all unique and creative.
And more about me..I grew up in the Appalachian Mountains in Georgia so nature is where I feel the happiest but sometimes a dose of that "city hustle" energy is good. I'm adaptable. My brother once visited me in NYC and said "Wow, we can just drag and drop you anywhere, huh?" 😀 Pretty much!
I am currently traveling Austria, Germany, Czech Republic and Spain- mostly for pleasure but also to study how it feels as a tourist in a new place to help me design top-notch trips! Then I am basing myself in Florence for a while to meet with partners and start bringing these dream trips to life for 2018!! This journey has been incredible. How one thing led to the next and things kept falling in place (along with some leaps of faith) to the point where I currently am- wow, I feel so incredibly lucky to be pursuing this path. Beyond words.
My focus and goal is to just keep asking in each moment, "How can I make this more meaningful?" We are not here to mindlessly pass through. We are here to connect, to be aware and present, to experience life. Sometimes it takes courage to amp up your level of consciousness..to start a conversation with the person next to you, to speak another language, or jump naked off that cliff. And some days quiet time for the inner connection is more important. But I believe that if we keep that question in mind in every moment, it can help us live a fuller, more vibrant life. 💜💜💜💜💜 Thank you all for following as I attempt to #workmydream and find a way to tie it into a greater good along the way.
I know guys, 6% of you said you didn’t wanna see my Roman photos. It’s all coming to an end now. Soon. Maybe by the end of this week. 😜 But to the rest of you who said they like these photos - here’s one of a more rustic, but nonetheless beautiful side or Rome. ❤️ And to all of you - Good Morning! May this Tuesday be filled with positivity. 😘
I think I found my favorite swing..... and my favorite thing about @luxresorts 💙💙💙 Their sustainability practices 🌍🌱
One example is their commitment to get everyone involved. Not just do their part and call it a day. Lux is part of SEMSI and they make sure to get all investors, customers, management, local community and suppliers truly involved and committed to sustainable practices. Isn't this amazing?
It’s been a rainy few days in paradise but it’s been good to relax and unplug on a private beach. No WiFi and electricity for a few hours a day has meant maximum relaxation time. 🏝🏄🏽♀️💦 🇵🇭 💡Tip: don’t learn how to paddleboard in shallow rocky waters. It’s a very painful lesson to learn.
5 times in Poland and I'm looking forward to come again 😏🐾
It was raining when we visited Lang Co but it didn’t stop me having a swim! I mean, ya gonna get wet anyway, right?! 🐳 I stepped out of the bedroom and straight into this private plunge pool overlooking the resort and the beach 😍
One of my most special moments of the Summer was hiking up what felt like thousands of steps on the Greek island of Sifnos to reach Theodorou's Sweet Shop. The shop has been trading since the 1930's and is run by the sweetest old lady (I imagine she's Theodorou). All the sweets are still traditionally made in copper pots over a fire. We bought some delicious bergamot marzipan which was so different from the stuff we usually get back home. I'm sure we'll be back to Sifnos to buy more sweets in the years to come.
This place is where we experienced the strongest rain while in Iceland this time. We were stopping at different locations around Myvatn, and the weather was kind of on and off that day. It wasn't raining until we were already on the way., and suddenly walking that normally quite short distance, felt like forever. Luckily, the Icelandic wind does magic when it comes to drying up soaked clothes 😄
I had seen photos of these rock tombs at some point in my life online or in a movie but for some reason never knew I'd see them in Iran. So, when we were driving up to them in the bus, I couldn't believe my eyes! They are so cool and remind me so much of Petra in Jordan but way less touristy. The cross symbol cut outs are tombs for Darius the Great and a few other people and are located about 12km outside of Persepolis. We asked how people could climb up that high to build them back in the day when the ground was even lower than it is now and our guide just said 'oh they just used scaffolding' haha. 😂 #iranigram#TStravels
The hardest part about traveling is to say the inevitable goodbyes 🌎 Always having that mixed emotions of being sad but excited at the same time. Traveling back to Asia today! ✈️ First stop will be Philippines 🇵🇭 its been 3 years since I celebrated Christmas and new year there! 🎉 Can’t wait to be with my friends and relatives ❤️
