In the midst of hectic days, finding some time to relax, refresh and recharge has gotten a little rare. There are thoughts that are constantly swiveling around my mind, making it hard for me to just let go and be. I know they are there for a reason, I know I have to address them and am yet to find a way to work through them. But some days, I wish I had a button to quiet my mind for a while. 🌟
My mom happened to come around just in time, helping me do just that. She arrived on Thursday and we spent a few beautiful days, sharing wonderfully calming conversations, enjoying the Christmas atmosphere when we took a walk over the Christmas market and let our souls refuel at a spa nearby. 💛
I clearly needed some time in a beautiful place to clean my head. It helped me realize that I can’t control everything. You don’t always need plan. Sometimes you just need to breathe and trust that things will work out. You need to let go and see what happens.😌✨
The last time I did just that, a therapeutic baking session resulted in this life changing CHRISTMAS FRUIT LOAF. 😍Christmas spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg & ginger, my favorite dried fruits, dates & figs and a handful of hazelnuts & walnuts, all combined in one loaf, making it hard to not go crazy over the smell alone when its coming out of the oven.
It has to be one of my favorite Christmas recipes this year and I don’t think an idea has ever worked out this great! Would you be in for the RECIPE? Let me know and I’ll add it to another post! ☺️

This easy to make energybar will help to grab that burst of energy and nutrients to fuel your workouts.
Eat this before 1 hour of your training. This can also be a handy thing to carry during your tournaments.
1 cup fresh dates (seedless)
1/4 cup almonds
1/4 cup walnuts
1/4 cup cashews
2 tsps ghee
Heat ghee and sauté the nuts in it till slightly golden brown in colour. Coarsely grind it in mixer. Grind the dates separately in the mixer and then sauté it in the remaining ghee in the pan. Switch off the gas and mix all the ingredients and make a roll. Wrap the roll in a plastic film and refrigerate for half hour. Remove from the fridge and unwrap it. Cut it into slices and store in airtight containers. It can remain upto 1 month.

Afternoon snack - protein balls
Stops those afternoon sugar cravings and another use of my delicious chocolate complete powder 👌
1/3 cup dedicated coconut
1/3 cup of coconut oil
1 tbs chia seeds
1 sachet choc complete powder- full of ancient grains and sprouts - blend all together in food processor, roll into balls and coat in extra coconut. Yum!

This week I have started focusing more on what I am eating, as most of use know cooking is my hobbie whether naughty😈 or nice 😇creations. I’ve recently have been indulging in more of the naughty lately 😉 which has caused a bit of weight gain🤦🏻♀️ so I did some research over the weekend for some healthy ideas and heres one !! 🤤🤤🤤.
Healthy Cocoa Crepes with Date Caramel, Banana and Blueberries!
3/4 cup Almond Milk
1/3 cup Flour
1 Tbsp Cocoa
1/2 tsp Stevia
Mix and put in fridge for 30 mins then cook.
Date Caramel Sauce:
50g Dates ( in hot water for 5mins then drain)
Blend with 1 Tbsp it Honey to get that sticky consistency.
Spread Caramel over Crepe and add Banana and Banana. 🍯🥞
