This past summer, we cooked for a beautiful Georgian family on our last night in Guria. They were celebrating their parents' 30th wedding anniversary, and we were honored to cook at their supra in their backyard. Under a canopy of stars, we toasted their health, their marriage, and passing on traditions to us. Welcoming in a bunch of American strangers to a celebration like this is so typically Georgian.
