Top single before volume deads yesterday. Was supposed to hit 465# then 485# for one, but I️ couldn’t quite find my groove. 465 felt heavier than it should so I️ knee 485 was a no go. Need to get more deficit dead volume and maybe some wide stance box squats incorporated to help that start of the movement better. Might bright my feet/toes in a hair to better much my knees out. My right knee tugged in a little at the start. #progress#practicemakesperfect
500 pound deadlift at a bodyweight of 165, hopefully pull this a little cleaner at the meet and pull more weight 💪 only 18 days to go now, coming down to the wire!
Smelling salts? More like super saiyan in a bottle.
515lbs for the last heavy pull in my program. 15lbs PR and an overall 30lbs improvement from when I first started the program this summer. Not a super pretty lift nor much weight really, but I'm happy about the improvement. (Which may have also been affected by gaining 10lbs 🤔)
Gradually getting heavier and the “stiff” bar isn’t helping. I’m also paying the price now for neglecting my upper back earlier this year. Still a solid pull. 515 for my top single and 455x8x3 for my back off sets. Shout out to @riv_pr for getting me this #Deadpool shirt!
