260x3 for top deadlift set that wasn't supposed to be my top set, 205x1 of like ten testers at sumo (((spoiler, they all sucked))) and then playing with things I know I'm good at to make myself feel better.
Big day today for back! Was going to take today off to rest but felt pretty eager to get after these so I went for it! 3 sets of 3 paused at rpe 8! Went 545, 545, then last set ( shown) was 585! It was probably more like an rpe 9 but fuck it I wanted that and got it done, most definitely a pr paused and or regular sumo's! Followed that with front squats paused for 4 sets of 4 at rpe 7 , did 395 395 then last 2 sets at 415 and felt really good about that! I feel great , thankful for @joesullivanpowerlifter and him helping me for this meet! I got goals to smash and they will be reached for this meet! Feeling stronger than I ever have at this point and healthy, going to keep it that way, determined is an understatement! Weighed in at 45.4 kg (100.09 lbs) Squats, my best lift, were sandbagged, three white lights three times ended at 107.5 kg (237) Bench first attempt wasn't super tight, but fine - second looked and felt much more solid at 55 kg (121), missed my third after losing tension on the bottom. Deadlifts are where my form needs most work, but chose well enough and three whites for three ending at 132.5 kg (292) Finally officially got my over 400 wilks with a 295 kg total (650 lbs) a big thanks again to @vopr82 for programming and coaching remotely.
Currently training for both USA Powerlifting Nationals in October and my first BJJ competition in September.
