My daughter was the most compliant, easy going baby. She hardly ever cried, and even when she did she would do it with her mouth closed and just hum. She would go to anybody, and stay in close vicinity to where I put her. Even today, while she's become a bit more stubborn as she's gotten older, she's still my easy one. Mr. Sticky fingers over there is the polar opposite in so many ways! He barely let his dad hold him when he was a baby, much less anyone else. He cried... and cried... and cried. He has a completely different personality than his sister! This photo displays their personalities perfectly, which is why it is easily one of my all time favorites! Isn't it wild how different our children can be from one another??
I forgot how excited the kids get when we print actual photos! They haven't stopped pouring over them, it's made me realise I need to do it a lot more. We used the Warehouse Stationary Fotofinish app and the delivery time was awesome 👌🏽.
Cute outfits are from @nununuworld 💛.
Ps 👶🏼 is doing his favourite "lock it in" 😂
Like a mother hoping to allow their child to learn from their own mistakes, the Universe is allowing you the same opportunity.
If we were given all of the answers at once, and did not have the opportunity to learn on our own, we would not learn much at all.
Hey Insta friends 👋🏾
Lots of new faces here so we want to give a quick introduction! -
I'm Jaxson, born at 22 weeks 6 days weighing a tiny 1lb 2.9oz and 11 inches long. I was given a 20% chance of survival and I spent 119 days in the NICU before getting discharged the day before my due date 😃while there I overcame many challenges and underwent 2 life changing surgeries. -

Happy Tuesday! I’m back from Chicago and catching up with clients, delivering albums (check out my Instagram stories!), and editing my cousin’s wedding from this weekend. Taking a little break was just what I needed to gear up for this busy busy fall season! I only have a couple of weekend session dates left before December so if you’ve been meaning to get in touch please do. I’d love to create beautiful art for your family!

We don't eat out too often as a family, there's always a kid jumping onto the table because the food's taking forever, or throwing food they don't like at some poor unsuspecting person walking by (please tell me I'm not the only one?!). But we're super excited to parter with @mypanera and check out their extensive kids menu today. The kids got turkey and pb&j sandwiches (see Hazel chowing down in my story), yogurts and apples. It was so nice letting them choose delicious and healthy options they would actually eat! They gobbled them up, and I'm one happy mom.
We made an offer on a house that we loved but it was contingent on our own selling. Which it hasn't yet. So they accepted another offer. I was feeling kinda crummy about it last night. Worrying about our home not selling and whether or not we'd find something else. So my soul found rest in Matthew 6:26- "Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?" So today we are smiling, and trusting the Lord and doing a silly chicken dance to get giggles like these 😍 My life is rich, I am blessed indeed! And the Lord will provide just the right home for us! #viviandluluandedie
We've been away from home for almost a week now...& this is always so hard getting out of our routines, out of our own beds, and constantly so so busy. Did I say it was hard already!? The second night we were away I almost packed up and left at 2 am... because these little rugrats haven't been sleeping well. As I'm rocking them(yes them!! At the same time!) at 2 am feeling defeated I look down and they are holding hands. Dekker also had his sweet little chubby hand on Kanon's cheek to comfort him. Why did I get so lucky with these two!? I am exhausted and tired, but they make it all worth it. I love little moments that make you feel so grateful; in the moments where you are feeling like you need a little somethin'. 📸: @angelanunninkphotography
“Pregnancy is the happiest reason ever for feeling like crap” . This is 32 weeks . My body is convinced I've only got a couple weeks left, when in reality I have 5.5 weeks. I'm measuring like I'm 37 weeks and the past few days have been chalk full of "any day now??" and "you're about to pop"- when in reality, I'm not. This pregnancy is a rollercoaster of feelings and as ready as I am to be done physically, I know that these babe need a lot more time to prepare for this world !
It can be such a struggle getting a toddler to eat, and even more of a struggle trying to find quick, healthy options for kids when eating out. But recently @panerabread updated their kids menu and it's been a game changer! They have so many options for kids to choose from! Olivia loves their vegetarian tomato soup and she's also obsessed with the strawberry banana Greek yogurt smoothie. Me? I love the chocolate chip cookies and usually stash a few in my purse for the car ride home 🙊 Perks of being the Mom. 💁🏻😄 .
What kind of food is your toddler loving lately? 🍴 .
#mypanera#sponsored and excited to partner with a brand we've loved for years! And just wanted to say thank you to my followers that are always so positive and supportive of my journey on here and any brand partnerships that I do. You guys are truly the best!
God knew we needed a good school day. Not just a good day, where we accomplish everything, but a good day where we smiled and giggled and ran through the woods and got excited about the trees we found and named and read our stories with little error and excitement for how much progress she was making and when we wrote numbers backwards we were giggling instead of feeling angry at himself. If these days could outweigh the tough ones for a while, that would be amazing for my heart and sanity 😉
I just got out of an interview to be a breastfeeding counselor at WIC. You all know me, and you know that I'm passionate about breastfeeding, and helping other mother's, and keeping it real AF. So.. send out some vibes and prayers for me please, I really need/want/FEEL this job. 🙏✨

This entire summer/fall has been nothing but reschedules for me. Most sessions were rescheduled at least once, some up to 5 times due to weather. These guys got rescheduled 4 times and I was starting to get a little nervous that we wouldn't see the end of the constant downpour until it turned to snow. Yesterday though I made the decision (in my head) that we were doing this no matter what. Everyday of autumn in Alaska is precious. The seasons pass quickly here. You go to bed looking at one season and wake up to the next (literally). It started raining on our way to our location and I was holding my breath the entire way. Luckily the sky decided to bless us and instead I had to battle the bright sun's face. I'll take the sun over a downpour any day, though. So glad this session can be marked off my reschedule list. The clock is ticking, that's for sure.
What was the most important thing you learned in your first year of parenthood?
I cannot think of a single year in my life where I changed more than the year Megan was born. I remember leaving the hospital that day and feeling like a complete fraud. Who the hell decided I was capable of raising a human? Especially the most beautiful, amazing, human I’d ever seen? I had wanted this…planned it all out, even read all the books, but suddenly felt like I had no idea what I was doing.... Charlotte's One Year Cake Smash sneak peek is up on my blog (link in profile).
This started out as one of those stereotypical "soaking in the quiet mornings before baby" instagram posts, but honestly I can't think of much I would like better than having my little here with me. You can come spill my tea anytime you want baby.
A little farm fun from this past weekend. We went to the cutest place that had pumpkins galore, u-pick flowers, sheep, goats, chickens, bunnies, playgrounds, kid games (potato sling shot, pumpkin roll, rubber ducky races), a cornfield maze, and a hayride! Downside was that it was insanely hot, but we will definitely be back closer to Halloween to pick out our pumpkins. 🎃 🌽🐑🐐🐓🐇🌻🍁#hellericksfamilyfarm#buckscounty
