Hey, y’all, heeeey! Since I get paid biweekly and was paid Friday, I’m into my budget plan for November. I actually budgeted some clothing money this time. I tried on EVERY SINGLE THING and scrutinized it, because I can’t live the stuff in my closet with tags still on it life anymore. I ask myself if I really LOVE things or if they will bring me joy (habits from the Marie Condo method). I stayed within the amount I allotted and still there’s a little guilt 😰. Anyone experience that while in BS2? Idk if it’s just harder to part with money now? 💸
This morning my husband "surprised" me by moving all of the money in our bank to the side saver we have for paying our loan off.
Which is good, it's a good step. But we haven't been grocery shopping, I need fuel and did I mention we haven't been grocery shopping? Setting a store cupboard challenge for meals, I'll just need to get creative and magic up some money to put fuel in my car, buy fresh fruit 🍎 bread 🍞 and eggs 🍳 #challengeaccepted#debtisdumb#debtfreejourney#debtfreecommunity#daveramsey#financialfreedom
So this is our current situation. Trying to pay off our 2008 Lexus ES350 as soon as possible and start contributing more to mortgage. This picture does not show our $19,000 outstanding lease payment for our 2017 Porsche Cayman S. The reason as to why is because the interest is already included in $19k and paying it off earlier does not help to reduce it. It is so to speak locked in the monthly price, which is $800 a month.
Geez. I was just looking at my phone calendar and saw that pretty much ALL of our annual bills and insurances are due in the second half of the year! At least one per month from June / July. Just need to get through the next couple months, bring on the first half of next year! Though I shouldn’t wish time away. So let’s just say once January is here, it shall be a little more financially pleasant 😝🌈🙌🤦♀️💸 #debtfreecommunity#debtfreejourney#debtfreeaf#debtisdumb#budgetlife#billsbillsbills
(⬅⬅ Swipe) Coupons and sales are MARKETING that entice you to buy, not charitable acts of kindness. Also, consider the brands of consumables that generally offer coupons and look at their ingredient list. Sure, it would be silly to avoid saving money on something you need or intend to buy... but limit your exposure to these ads by unsubscribing from mailing lists. You'll get out of debt / build wealth faster by focusing your efforts on increasing your income, not by saving big on your household's toiletries. 🤑🤓💁📚 #minimalism#classisinsession#themoreyouknow#buyresponsibly#buywithintention
Sooooo ready to be done with a dirt backyard !! Still have more $$$ to put into it 😩 so yet again paused our #debtsnowball for two months but if we have a mortgage payment we would like to use our whole house including the yard. Last year we did our front yard so now the back. My husband is so amazing don't know how he (or his back) does it. Here are some before and after pictures. Hoping the backyard has grass in a couple weeks 🙏🏻🌱🌱#dontjudge#dreamtogether
Kids were bugging me for take - away. Went and bought our own fish and chips (and sauce) and 4 of us were happy with it. Now the younger two are eating cucumbers, sweet chilli and Tuna as they are starving kiddies after our morning at the river. This would have easily cost around -$10 each if we went to the fish and chip shop. Instead a whopping 3.25. Not going to completely cut out our “treats” but I’m thinking once a month We can go either out for dinner or have a yummy lunch by the ocean. #gonebarefoot#barefootinvestor#debtfreejourney#savingwhereican#sundaylunches
The common denominator of success lies on the fact that the successful people formed habits of doing things that failures don't like to do. You can hold that statement up to a light, you can put it to the acid test, and you can kick it around until it's worn out, but when it is all said and done, it still will be the common denominator to success! It's time to think outside the box and aim for success! www.myfinancialvision.com
Busy Sunday morning in the kitchen! Two batches of pancake mix, visitors for breaky! Batch of lemon butter, then whipped up this zucchini slice using chives and ham instead of onion and bacon! Now I'm off to work 🙄
Prices include tip. I only paid for the dermaplaning, my boyfriend was kind enough to pay for everything else. I budgeted $300 for it so I paid for a pricey dinner that night and still have some left.
I feel good about the treatments I got and am glad I did it. I plan on getting a mani and pedi once a month when my bf gets his haircuts. I also got some nail colors I like from the local nail supply store to paint my own nails in between salon trips. Thanks to the because for getting them for me.
Alright, so what Im about to say may cause outrage from all the true Dave Ramsey followers, but I want to take all 4 of my kids, and myself of course to NYC next summer. The good news? It will be a cash only vacation. The bad news? Estimating about $9000 for flight, hotel, food, tickets to things we want to do/see, etc. I would love to be debt free before I go. However, covering my debt and my vacation and my regular day to day....this may or may not be a possibility. 8 months away. I guess that means I will have to stay on top of the budget and tighten it to the beans and rice diet in all catagories. I know I can be doing more right now, and this is my new motivation! Let the coutdown ..... BEGIN!
Ahh wishing I was back on our cruise celebrating being debt free, but alas... it’s officially fall in Portland and the rain is NON STOP!! So I’ll sit here in our house and wait until May to see the sun again. 😭

To my fellow Aussie chicks - I’m looking to start buying quality pieces of clothing. Normally I’m Kmart / Target but I want to slowly start building up quality pieces that will obviously cost more but will last. Can I please get recommendations as to where I can buy great quality clothes that will last the distance 🙏 EDIT: I have decided to budget $50 per week between now and Christmas which should build up to around $500 so I can shop the post-xmas sales to get more for my money. I don’t want to dip into my new sinking fund that covers clothing just yet as I’d like to build it up a bit first 😊 #debtfreecommunity#debtfreejourney#debtfreeaf#debtisdumb#budgetlife
In my latest Youtube video i'm sharing my October debt + life updates. This month I was inspired by the members of my Young Yet Wise Society they inspire me to push towards my goals. Can't believe I'm almost debt free ahhhhh lol Click the link in my bio to watch.
"I'll never get out of debt." "I don't make enough money to have a budget."
"I'm not dedicated enough to take control of my finances." These are statements you should never make. It's okay to admit to your faults with money, however, it is not okay to constantly put out negative energy surrounding your financial situation.
Speak positively about your finances and you will start to believe your words, then the appropriate actions will follow.
At the beginning of the month, I owed $447 towards my cell phone. I paid a total of $175 dollars this month. I know some of you may be thinking, “Why are you paying off your phone, there’s literally no interest and it doesn’t effect your credit?” Well the reason is it makes my cellphone bill an extra $30 a month. That is $30 I can be putting towards a debt. So I know in the long run I better off paying this phone off. (I also will call this my debt phone l, b/c I’ll be rocking with this one until my debt is paid off or until it dies on me) .
Throwback to my very first LipSense color nine months ago!💁🏻😍 I had never even worn lipstick and signed up for the discount before I ever tried it💄😳😬 I threw away all my chapstick and gloss and never looked back😱🙈 Now this magic makeup pays my bills 💵 and is helping keep us out of debt while my husband finishes PA school 👩🏻⚕️👨⚕️ I don't say that to brag.. I have worked harder than ever these last nine months but I want to inspire you to go after your dreams even if you are skeptical or fear failure. I fear not going for something and wishing I had more than I do failing and I can honestly say that I am so glad I went for this!🙌🏼🙏🏼 #bestdecisionever#debtfree#debtfreejourney#workfromhome#watchmeorjoinme

Pumpkin Spice Hummus✨
Yes, it’s a thing😉. I picked this up at the @gilbertmarket today. It was an exclusive flavor only available for a short time.
And it’s AMAZING!
What item is pumpkin 🎃 spice that you love? xoxo
My #debtfreeday was planned for November 22. But I received a wonderful blessing today! My last payment will be on Tuesday instead. I have been gifted the November payment... so I will be finished with my #debtfreejourney on October 24 instead of November 22! I haven't even had time to process that yet... I think I'm still in shock. Debt is a terrible thing and anyone who doubts that statement should come talk to me and listen to my horror stories. I have truly seen the hand of God while journeying through and being diligent with the #debtsnowball . Come Tuesday, it will be all over and I will owe not one cent to not one person. No gimmicks, no pyramid schemes, no get rich quick foolishness... just pure and simple discipline, a monthly #zerobasedbudget and sticking to #daveramsey 's plan. Tuesday can't come fast enough. I am so blessed.
Another great week, mostly because I was too sick/exhausted to shop. 😅 Finally got groceries this morning and managed to stay under budget.. at Costco of all places. I’m getting so much better at sticking to my list and not making impulse purchases. 🙌🏻 A feat, with all of the Halloween AND Christmas candy this time of year.
The new Super Mario comes out next week.. aaand I’m buying it. Video games are one of the things I haven’t given up on this debt free journey. What are you still buying while in debt that the experts say you ‘shouldn’t’?
