...photos from the Swedish Exhibition 1934 in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
Top photo furniture designed by Nordic Company’s Chief Designer Axel Einar Hjorth, model series “Record” and “Typenco”, Richard Wunderlich must have visited the Exhibition in Tallinn in the year 1934, he created later a dining table very familiar with A E Hjorth’s dining table in model “Typenco”, Wunderlich’ version used the same kind of Dutch pullout as A E Hjorth’s version, the pullout leafes in Wunderlich’ version are almost identical in construction to those of A E Hjorth, however it seems that the veneers differed in the version by Wunderlich, A E Hjorth’s veneers were made of Gonzalez Alvez. Table lamp designed by the Head of NK’s Lamp Department Erik Tidstrand. Pile rug by Taberg’s Carpet Factory, Malmoe sold through NK.
Photo below, furniture from Company David Blomberg, pewter and black stained birch sidetable and dining table by Architect Sten Blomberg, chair’s from Company Gemla I haven’t been able to identify the origin of the Gemla chairs real Designer, a hard nut to crack, but I’m working on it. Pile rug probably from Elsa Gullberg. Ceiling lamp designed by Harald Notini for Böhlmarks Lamp Factory.
