Another great exercise for your shoulders, particularly the anterior deltoid head - when adding the hold, having someone else, a coach or partner count the hold for you, can keep you honest. Sometimes, when counting yourself, you can tend to drop the weight early.

The deltoid destruction was real tonight. Started training my standing military press again and max tested on that, which honestly was not as much as I'd thought it be. You know what though that's what happens when you don't train specific movements for a while. Office bod often includes rolled shoulders. 🚶🏻👎🏻 Rolled shoulders can cause nerve entrapment at the pec muscle which can lead to numbness and tingling in your pinkie and ring fingers. 🤚💥 This is a great exercise to help unroll your shoulders and improve your posture. The key is puff your chest out and focus on bringing the weight back by focusing on squeezing your shoulder blades together. Make sure to stretch your pecs out before you do this exercise so you can get through the full range of motion and strengthen your posterior deltoid and rhomboid. .

Every exercise on push day doesn't have to be a push, gonna need some raises/pulls in there to hit the lateral and posterior delts. Just easier to say "push" than "chest, shoulders, and tri's". Additionally, my head should've been further back so that I can pull farther back to maximize tension on rear delt. I like using rope attachment a couple slots higher than the head. Tonight was a night where I didn't wanna do anything. But I dragged myself to the gym and once I got started it all fell into place. Hit shoulders and traps hard. Shoulders have always been a weak point for me so I make it my mission to go extra hard on them. Making progress. Slowly but surely.
