I got as far as third yesterday. I won against Afghanistan and Taipei before falling to China in the Semis.

First off I'd like to offer this victory to the Big Man upstairs. It's always a performance for him. Secondly I'd like to thank the POC, the PSC, the PTA, our other sponsors and Grand Master Hong for allowing me the opportunity to compete in such a prestigious tournament. (Special shout out to congressman Monsour del Rosario for constantly looking out for us!) Following that I'd like to thank coaches, coach Dindo Simpao and coach Japoy Lizardo, our strength and conditioning coaches, coach @jfuts and coach Martin, Compound, Dr. Jason Han and all of my teammates for prepping me for this event.
I'd also like to thank our PT Juan for being ringside. Thank you Arturo Aro and Jeaneth Aro for the meal plans and prep and Timothy Jeffe Ting for helping me figure out workout supplements! I never knew till very late on that I had always had a problem doing the lying leg curl machine for my hamstrings, the problem I had is that no matter how hard I tried to keep my glutes and hips down they just would not stay down and I was forcing them to stay down and without knowing they would just come out wards even if I got someone to press down from my hips and then that caused me to feel some pain in my lower back and I would not feel it in my hamstrings. I stopped doing that exercise and waited till I could find an alternative way and guess what, yes you guessed it this exercise popped up thanks to @missashleysarina who posted it up on her IG a while ago and I just had to try it when I saw it at the time and this was my first attempt at it, maybe my positioning is not 100% correct on the bench but you know what I think this is my new favourite hamstring exercise (Lying D/B curls) the reason why because I only feel it in my hamstrings and nowhere else so this allows me to fully focus on my hamstrings and squeeze the hell out of them, the weight here is only 3kg yes that's right only 3KG but my god it burns and left my hamstrings shaking and on fire, what I love about this is the fact that my hips and glutes stay down they do not come up which I am so happy about it. I now do this exercise every time I do hamstrings maybe I can come more in with the dumb bell as I come up which is an improvement I can make and maybe play around with my positioning on the bench. Thank you Ashley for providing this alternative exercise. Here I am using @neil_yoda_hill1 week 1 Y3T protocol with a four second eccentric and never forget that squeeze at the top this made it even more harder but loved everything about this exercise, try this exercise next time you are doing hamstrings and let me know how you feel. I'm 25 years old, with nothing to my name but the passion in my heart. I must say though, through these hard times I've realized things about myself I may have never realized if it wasn't for times like I am in now.
