I'm currently constructing a list of topics to record short videos to continue to provide valuable content to my social media platforms. I have had amazing feedback from my Fb lives and I want to pick it up again with some more structure and consistency.

Allow yourself to stop living and fear and just make damn sure you start living your dreams!!!
I'm going to talk about why off-season is so important. Most competitors are highly motivated during their contest prep to do whatever it takes to bring their best to the stage. What is often overlooked is the importance of a proper off-season to make the necessary improvements before hitting the stage again!
Let's just quickly talk about the adaptations of a prolonged caloric deficit. During a contest prep you are NOT going to be in an optimal position to make improvements to your physique or build muscle. Your goal is simply to get stage lean while MAINTAINING the most lean body mass (LBM)
During a contest prep caloric intake will be lowered, energy expenditure (cardio) will be higher, and hormone levels will be lower due to the drop in body-fat, specifically testosterone, which is going to directly impact muscle mass, and metabolic rate. As you can see a contest prep is NOT the time to focus on making improvements regardless of how hard you train. (I am not saying don't train hard)
Setting up proper programming during your off-season, as well as taking enough time away from the stage to make the necessary improvements is where you're going to see the most progress. Shows are won in the off-season. The competitors who can stay focused on the goal with 100 percent intensity even though they may not be hitting the stage for two years are the ones who will make the most improvements next time they compete.
Keep this is mind during your off-season. Stay focused on the goal, be patient, and work on improving your weaknesses. It will show next time you compete!

New moon of Leo. Tonight I have the window to plant the seed. What do I really want? Where is my desire rooted from? What am I willing to do to manifest it NOW. I'm writing it all down and I'm LISTENING to my thoughts, intuition, messengers. The moon tonight is an empty vessel. I take this opportunity to meditate on my intentions of service, unconditional love and sharing of wisdom, wealth & prosperity...as the light of the sun (the purest channel of energy) begins to refill the moon with it's light, my desires become manifested into existence. I reap what I sow on full moon, the rest of the month and year. On this month, it is crucial I understand that I am not the source, but the vessel, a channel for the Light of the Creator to be revealed through me. The best version of myself comes from knowing how to listen to understand and connect rather than to know what to respond. The difference is that listening ignites wisdom and empathy while hearing creates empty words and separation. I'll let my soul speak for me, wisdom be my steering wheel and love be the fuel to my purpose-thriven process. Amen!
