👼🏻🦄Magical unicorns message for today👼🏻🦄
Make a wish and expect the very best! Here's a secret to a happy life: Expect the best. That's because life gives you what you expect. So, if you have fears about the future, your fears may come true. It's so much better to feel happy about your future. You can do this by looking for stars in the sky and making wishes. Trust that they'll come true (but maybe in a different or better way than you expect). Your trust is the *"magic"* that makes wishes happen. The more trust you have, the better. You can ask God, the angels and the unicorns to help you trust. They can help you heal from any fears or pains from the past so that your heart is filled only with love and happiness. Don't worry that you may be disappointed and that your wish won't come true. This worry can block wishes from happening! So, make your wish and then believe it will come true. Ask for your hearts desires- they'll come to you at the perfect time, in the perfect way. You don't need to know how your wishes will happen....all you need to know is make the wish. Then, your inner voice may tell you to take action to help make the wish come true. The inner voice always gives you positive words and feelings and you must listen to it so that you can help yourself and others. Enjoy making and receiving your wishes! 💗Love and Light💗

Christmas is a lovely, but sometimes stressful time of year! Make sure your festive season is one of relaxation with plenty of family, friends and laughs! A little pampering will go a long way too! So be sure to look after yourself - take the time to get that massage or facial (or just a nice long bath!) that you've been meaning to do! #christmastime#treatyourself
💜🌸🦄🍃Ohh lavender, lavender. This is my absolute fav - it's a staple for anyone starting their essential oil collection. Lavender really is the essential oil that does it all - reduces anxiety and emotional stress, improves sleep, a powerful antioxidant, the list goes on. I especially like to add a few drops to a hot bath before bed, to help calm and destress - all ready for a good night sleep. I am using this Organic Lavandin oil from @harlowskinco and 💜 it! #Loveyourmind ⠀
The face I make when I can FINALLY wash the makeup off of my face after a long, eventful day. ALSO the face I make when I realize I can FINALLY go back to working out tomorrow for the first time in what feels like 2 weeks ... or maybe it has been 2 weeks.. 🤔😜🤷🏽♀️ #iliketobefreshfaced#nomakeup#letmyskinbreathe#undress#destress
One of the things I do to avoid burnout is developing systems that create more efficient work. Sticking to a schedule really helps. I try to stay on a regular routine for preparing for the next week so that I'm not always playing catch-up on the weekend. There's a movement called "The 40 Hour Teacher Workweek" and I was just listening to a podcast about it and how to avoid teacher burnout. There were a lot of recommendations that they made that I've already integrated, such as filling the time you spend outside of school with things you're really passionate about. I spend a lot of my outside time reading and writing. It's not like I don't look at student work at home, it's just that I try to be really systematic about what I take home and what I get done in the school building. Efficiency and making choices to fill your time with things you enjoy doing is really important. I don't wait for the weekend to do those things. I do them during the school week as well. It's hard to say I won't do any work on the weekend, but I think that if I get all the planning out of the way before the weekend and just have some odds and ends to take care of, then I have that time to do it. ~ Sarah Parker, 23 years teaching
