The more I meditated and received #energyhealing, I slowly started to move from an intellectual way of understanding life to an intuitive way of feeling through my daily circumstances. To be present is not to be without any noise, distraction or work but to remain calm and focused on your internal feelings; both the self-talk and the bodily responses to external stimuli.

Presence and living in the #present is always dependent on our reaction to everything happening within us and around us. Our egos thrive on obsessing on the past or the future, the ego naturally drives us to create outcomes to problems that don't even exist or haven't happened yet. The trick is to catch the ego when it does this and come back to the here and now.

Matcha Smoothie Bowl

1 cup coconut milk {mylk}
1/4 cup kale 
2/3 cup mango 
1/4 cup zucchini {1/2 cup cucumber}
1 tbsp kithual pani 
1 tsp matcha green tea 
Juice of 1/2 lemon (1 lime) 
Dash of seasalt

Place all ingredients in a high speed blender. Blitz. Add a little bit of coconut water or water if too thick. Add more Pani for preferred sweetness. Unless you are a well seasoned green smoothie junkie - USE cucumber instead of zucchini because raw Z is an acquired taste.

Judging from the weather this past week, I think the SW monsoon is here and quite early. During the rainy season and we have two of them, we really intend to eat A LOT to unnecessary foods insulate our bodies and comfort ourselves because thunderstorms and floods make us nervous/anxious/frustrated. So we binge, move less, hibernate. Let's face it is a super inconvenient time.

So, this is the time to be very careful of what you eat, simply because you will eat more than normal anyway. Most often, I start my days off with a smoothie. Monday definitely with a green one. After my Saturday night 🍕and Sunday night 🍝 plus 🍫 this weekend - I definitely need a reset. Best resets are raw, nutrient-packed, organic, all-natural and of course delicious.
