Made this cozy little drink the other day, and it was a hit! Healthy, Organic Vegan White Hot Chocolate. 😋 I love cashew milk for its sweet, creamy texture and abundance of vitamins and minerals like vitamins E, K, and B6, along with minerals like copper, zinc, magnesium, iron, and selenium. Good for the tastebuds, body AND skin! May your weekend include latte mugs, filled up with healthy warm drinks and eats, surrounded by love, joy and all of your favorite people! 🍵
First, HOMEMADE CASHEW MILK:
Soak 2 cups of cashews in 4 cups of water for 4 hrs. After it's soaked, blend well. I like adding 4 pitted dates.
Next, add the cashew milk, 4 tbsps of cacao butter, 1 teaspoon of vanilla (either scraped or extract) to the saucepan. If you didn't use dates earlier, now is the time to add your sweetener of preference. ( not refined sugary ones, of course)
Heat over medium heat whisking all the time. First the cocoa butter will melt covering the top of the mixture like an oil slick. I like to take it off the heat as soon as the oil droplets disappear. If it doesn't thicken up enough put it back on the heat for another minute or so. Pour and enjoy! #doingbeautydifferent ™️ #healthylifestyle#innerbeauty

In my bowl:
1 frozen banana
2 Mandarin oranges
1 handful frozen kale
1/4 cup frozen delicata squash
1/4 cup frozen cauliflower
@kitehillfoods plain almond milk yogurt
