⏳Have you seen on Facebook that story/analogy of the professor holding a glass of water? At first it’s not heavy at all, anybody can hold it. But then with time it starts getting heavier, and heavier, and heavier, until it’s unbearable to hold a freakin’ glass of water.

🔌That’s how I think about procrastination. The longer you wait and put it off- the heavier it becomes. Use these 4 methods to lighten the load!

⏰Create deadlines: I learned a trick from Warren Buffett about health. When he was younger and he started to notice he was putting on some extra weight- he would make a bet with his kids. He’d write them a check for a few thousand dollars and say something like: If I don’t lose 10 lbs in 30 days, you can cash that check. He HATED the idea of losing money so he’d do whatever it took to reach that goal.

✍️Make an effective to-do list: It’s no secret that to do lists are extremely powerful for getting shit done. What I learned from Tony Robbins is that when making your list- don’t write down what needs to be do. FIRST, decide what RESULTS you’re after. Then write down the tasks that will lead to the result. Sometimes we have a lot to do but we aren’t doing what’s most important.

🤝Positive peer pressure: Social media can be a powerful tool for accountability. When you announce to your friends on Instagram that you’re going to lose 10 lbs in 30 days, people will hold you to it. If you keep it to yourself, you might be more inclined to let it slip. If others know your goals, you’re much more likely to act on it. Harness the power of peer pressure.

🍕Plan rewards: One of my biggest mentors and a great friend has a business goal he works to reach by the 10th of every month. If he hits that goal, he rewards himself with a professional massage. You can reward yourself with a glass of win for completing your daily to-do list, or a new set of workout clothes for completing a 30 day challenge, or whatever it is that motivates YOU! 🙂

It really just boils down to getting shit done. Apply the 5 second rule and make it happen, I believe in you :)

Just made the best mushroom soup ❤️ I've made my soup with obvs chestnut mushrooms, red onion, celery, potato, garlic, salt and pepper, mixed herbs and 2 knorr stock pots. When it finished I added in 2 seriously strong cheese squares and blended for a few seconds. 👍🏻 creamy mushroom soup ... Smashed this morning with an hours cardio, weights & squats followed by thee tastiest salad! Ask yourself when you eat,  is this getting me closer to where I want to be or further away? Be realistic with yourself. Yes we all need a treat now and again but you can't have it all 🤷🏼‍♀️ that's the cold hard truth! What do you want more? The body or the biscuit? I know what I want 🙂🍑 a leaaaaan body to live in not the enjoyment for two seconds then the the whole day of guilt that comes with it 🤦🏼‍♀️ no thank you! My lunch is a very balanced one, lots of greens, crunchy vegetables and some fats in there too! 🥗🥒🌶🍅🧀🍳 I don't eat meat so I get all my protein from my gorgeous juice plus shakes! 18g a pop and they are delicious. Not just used for weight loss either, improved digestion, pre/post workout, weight gain. If your intrigued drop me a message! Have a healthy happy day 😘

Zinc is an essential mineral. For enzymes to catalyse chemical reactions, zinc must be available.

If you’re insulin resistant and lacking in zinc then getting adequate amounts through your diet will help improve insulin sensitivity.

My water intake is a big struggle for me at times. I'm improving a lot!! My average at the start was 2-2.5 litres! Now it's 3-3.5 litres with me trying to push for 3.5+

Well, for starters, I know you shouldn't start by realizing that you live in the Information Age and can just type something like "how to start getting fit" into a search box, which will return a shitload of resources on the subject, such as my own that you can read by going to monsterlonge.com/how-to-start-exercise-program-after-being-sedentary-for-years/

That'd be just stupid to hop online and find workout programs and nutrition plans that take the guesswork out of shit for you, videos showing how to perform exercises with proper form, and blog posts on various topics of nutrition so you know what to eat and why and how much.

How to start getting fit certainly isn't by doing any of that shit!

Neither is it the prehistoric way of just getting off your ass and going to the gym and then mimicking others or, gasp, asking some fit looking motherfucker for help!
