💥If you so mention the word carbs to some people you can see them whince with fear. I know this from working with clients who have been conditioned into believing that carbs are the devils food & so they have developed the "carb fear"
🗽This post isn't aimed at anyone who has made the conscious decision to use the keto protocol or anyone who just doesn't eat carbs but feels sensational for not doing so. ✔️This is for those who have cut them out because you are worried bad things might happen. 💥These are methods that I use to help my clients improve their carb relationship ❤️
1️⃣ Set you mindset to knowing that you are in control not the food . You must identify trigger foods. These foods cause you to overeat so to stay in control these are best avoided. ‼️Please note for example if donuts are your trigger food then the carbs aren't acting alone so it is actually the hyper palatable combination of the fat & carbs which cause you to over eat not just carbs.
2️⃣ All food is fuel but carbs are its primary source.Try & free yourself of using food as a reward or a punishment or revolving your whole social calendar around it. Food is there to make you feel good, keep you healthy it should be enjoyed but not used as a life dictator.
3️⃣Eating a small to moderate amount daily will help you see if you've been living in fear, that nothing bad happens. Best thing to do is to start of having one serving a day maybe timed around your training of applicable.✔️Pay attention to the how you feel, the fact that you don't instantly gain fat & potentially how much more awesome your training sessions are.✔️having them daily ( minus trigger foods) reduces the potential binges that come from applying heavy restrictions.
4️⃣ Repeat the carb commandments daily; ✔️Carbs wont make me fat only a calorie surplus will ✔️Carbs = bodies fuel ✔️Carbs in moderation will help enhance my mood, my sexy time drive, balance my hormones & give me a spring in my step.✔️I can eat carbs whenever I like because is know it's my overall intake & diet adherence that matter most.

You can have all the supplements in the world! The best training routines and a perfect nutritional plan catered for your bodies specific goals, but if you don't work hard and work hard consistently, it counts for nothing!
Never understand why people torture themselves to get results, only to relapse and fall off after a short period of time because it becomes too hard or too much of a chore for them to keep up and always end up back where they started! 🙄
Take a step back. Set some realistic and achievable goals that fit into your lifestyle and go from there. We are not all elite athletes (myself included) so why are you trying to train like one? If you are an elite level athlete, then keep going 👏🏻 If you're not? Who cares! Just do what you can and do it well 👊🏻 so long as you stay consistent, you will get there 👌🏻💪🏻
