Nivea is facing backlash for an ad that promotes skin lightening. This ad has been advertised in Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon and Senegal, has gone viral on the Internet. What do you think about this ad?
There are over 7 billion people in the world from all different walks of life. If we were to take 100 people and represent those 7 billion and put them in a line, all of us on here right now who even have access to the internet would be represented by the front of the line. 50 of those hundred are considered malnourished. It's so easy to get caught up in what we don't have and focus so much on our own lives and pursuits whether its career, relationships, school, you name it and it gets us disconnected from what's really going on out there in the rest of the world. Every 3 seconds a child in the back of that same line that we are in the front of takes their last breath due to lack of food and/or clean water. We can't change the next 3 seconds and we cant help everyone, but we can definitely help someone. And if all of us in the front of that line were to help someone at the back, imagine what a difderent world it would be. This beautiful boy in my hands is Millinium! He is 8 years old from Ethiopia and he is in the back of the line. I adopted Millinium last night and made the commitment to make sure he is getting his needs met every month in ethiopia. Such a small action from my life with such a profound impact on his life and although it seems one sided, i believe that he is changing my life just as much. Keeping me grounded and connected to the rest of the line and staying focused on what matters. He is my fist child, but my goal is to personally sponsor 100 children. I cannot wait to go to Ethiopia and meet Millinium and his family. .

Abundant Life in Christ Jesus takes no thought of death especially when He died to give us the Life He had. So disrespectful to The Cross.
Then we want to ask the whole world for their prayers whenever we need healing in a life or death situation.
Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us. 1 John 4:17-19
