Firecracker chickpeas 💥
One of the biggest hurdles with food allergies/intolerances is giving up the meals you love. I could demolish a huge portion of spicy chicken any day, alas can’t tolerate most ingredients in that meal. No chicken, batter, garlic or onion. I have tried many recipes, that just didn’t have that perfect sauce. I am happy to say, I think I created a winner. If only I wrote down portions! •
In a small pan, heat a little oil and ground ginger for about one minute. Add a cup of pineapple juice and 2 tablespoons of liquid aminos (or soy sauce) and bring to a boil. Whisk in a little gluten free flour or cornstarch until it thickens. Heat on low for a couple minutes, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, cook chickpeas, pineapple and diced red pepper (or any other veggies) on medium high heat until cooked. I added a few dashes of red pepper flakes too. Pour sauce over, top with green onions, and sesame seeds. ENJOY.
I’m a creature of habit for breakfast, but at least try to switch it up with new brands of yogurt and granola. The almond butter is my favorite, so that pretty much always stays the same 🤗 What is your go-to breakfast?

I work in healthcare and am required to get an annual flu shot. This is my 4th year reacting with hives, and will absolutely be my last. I’ve been told hives aren’t considered an adverse reaction but I have to agree to disagree!
These are the usual suspects on my desk each morning. Give me all the coffee, green tea, and water! My daily goal is to consume about half my body weight in ounces of water, which equates to many bathroom breaks throughout the day 😜 Stay hydrated my friends!

Pretty much all pasta sauces destroy my stomach and give me rashes around my lips, so a few years ago I started getting a little more creative with how I eat pasta. One of my favorite ways is topping with roasted veggies, sausage and lactose free cheese! Any other pasta lovers?

I️ started adding a scoop of collagen to my tea 4-5 days per week in August and I️ have noticed such a difference in my hair and nails. They are stronger and growing faster than ever before. This is not something I struggled with up until about 2 years ago. I️t hurts, it’s annoying and it makes me very self-conscious. One bad meal can make me look like I’m pregnant, and this was the result of an entire week in Ireland this summer. I️ ate a lot of dry goods I️ brought myself and too many meals of steak and potatoes because everything else made me nervous. Thankfully, what comes quickly, goes quickly and I️ can get back on track in no time. My current meal plan truly prevents bloating in the first place by guiding my portion sizes and teaching me how my body positively reacts when I️ consume the right mix of different food groups. •

Spent my day at a draft conference with my lit professor for my research, paper. Then, four hours at digestive health for a follow up HBT. The fructose I had to take for the test made me incredibly sick and I have been nauseous and sick to my stomach for the remainder of the day. Despite all the sickness, my husband surprised me with a new pair of earrings (to replace the same ones he bought me 2 years ago that I lost) beautiful roses, candles, and took me shopping for my 22nd birthday. I love days I’m able to go to the Chamber Networking Breakfast meetings. These three oils are what made me fall in love with dōTERRA, they help with my digestive systems so much! There are so many different ways to get use them to help depending on what you need.
Digestzen is the oil I take everywhere and use for any acute digestive symptoms. I add a drop to my water or lick a drop off the back of my hand.
Lemon is cleansing so if I’m feeling backed up, I’ll add a drop to my water with digestzen.
For motion sickness or a sour belly I like adding in peppermint. It soothes and calms. I take a peppermint beadlet or add a drop to a veggie cap with digestzen.

We made these berry wholemeal scones in playschool today, a little messier but there was lots of little steps for them to complete 👌 *1 cup flour
*1 cup wholemeal flour (plus more for kneeding at end)
*1 cup oats *Half cup butter
*Half cup milk
*1 TSP baking powder
*Half tap bread soda *1 cup of berries
Mix the flours, baking powder and bread soda together. Rub in the butter. Mix eggs and milk together and add to dry ingredients- mix well. Add berries- I used frozen. Topple onto a floured surface, kneed and add enough flour until you can shape into scones 🤗 They loved the pops of colourful berries coming through 🍓🍒🔵
