This week's podcast is live! We are proud to feature essential oils expert, entrepreneur, mom and proud network marketer (yup, it's making a comeback) Stacie Malkus. Check the link in our bio!
Stacie never saw herself in sales, much less network marketing. So, when an opportunity to become a rep with an essential oils business (@younglivingeo) came her way, she balked. That is, until she saw how powerful the oils were when she used them to help her daughter's sleep.
After Brooklyn took a 3-hour nap, mommy became a believer. Now, she oversees a 40K member team, selling healthy essential oils to those craving an alternative to the mainstream path of mainstream medicine and prescription drugs.
This episode began as an exploration of these oils and how wide-ranging and beautifully effective they are in treating all manner of illness and injury (which we cover extensively). But, along the way, we realized that this episode was also about the return of network marketing as a viable, powerful business for those who'd rather not sit at a desk all day.
In the last couple of years, Stacie has dramatically grown her business to become the lone bread winner in her family (she "retired her husband" a few years ago), and now their family enjoys more time together, enjoying the outdoors (surfing in particular), traveling and more. For those seeking ways to treat pain and illness more holistically AND for people who desire an elegant alternative to working 9-5, then this podcast is for you. Enjoy! (Link in bio)
Balancing life and it's many teachings. The push and pull. Holding on and letting go. Navigating emotions and forging new pathways of the heart. Slowing down while picking up speed. Relaxing while taking purposeful action.
I know that whatever may come in my life, I am ready. I am never given anything I cannot handle. The universe knows my potential, my grit and grace.
I am peeling off the layers of the constructs and realizing my truth & trust. Awake in this dream. Dreaming this life into being. Honouring the ground from which I came and on which I tread, with delicate pondering steps towards a future that is unfolding with lessons to be experienced.
So much has changed and I am always changing. In perpetual growth I stand with arms raised in humility, with feet planted firmly. I know my worth, my talents and radiance. I am home within my heart.
One of the views from Inspiration Point in Bryce Canyon. It's overwhelming and so hard to capture the vastness and the sheer number of all the hoodoos here. I like this photo because it looks like there was a digital glitch when opening it causing hundreds of copies to be created. #glitchinthematrix
Sometimes you just gotta sit back and enjoy all the little blessings.
I can't take all the credit for the clarity I have gained from my inward journey. All I have done is just follow the inner voice—my intuition. I sit still, and like magic, my body and mind are animated towards the right actions and thoughts. I surrender control to nature's process of evolution. I surrender to the expansion of nature. Who am I to mess up this flow?
So instead of doing some awkward wobble, I align my flow—my life—to the flow of the universe. I align to the flow of God.
Because the reality is I am not separate from the universe. No more than the flower is separate from the rest of the plant. The flower IS THE PLANT. There isn't a "ME," and then there's "THE UNIVERSE." Those labels are merely grammatical conventions used for conversational convenience. They aren't physical reality. They're just words: linguistic symbols—invisible "mindstuff"—that aren't physically real.
I AM THE UNIVERSE. I am a part of it like all the stars and galaxies that comprise the cosmos. I am the flower at the end of the plant. As you are too.
Even the mightiest galaxies surrender to the evolutionary process. Who am I to try to defy what galaxies are incapable of?
And for the better. The flow of the universe is always the PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE. It just does what it does. EFFORTLESS.
"Ride the wave," they say.
The wave is already there. It's always been there for us. We just have to jump on it and enjoy the ride. ✌️
Tonight when we were driving home from our summer job, there was a beautiful pink sunset, with the mist lying over the fields like a white soft cloud of muslin. When we stopped by to admire the beautiful landscape, a magical white horse appeared from far away. We admired it from a distance at first, but then we decided to jump over the fence and see if it wanted to hang out with us. It did! 😀
