Nothing fancy to see here! 😝 Yeah we are eating on paper plates, my kids are half naked and the dog is begging at our feet. But this makes my heart happy! 💕
This is us, this is REAL life! And this is what I've pictured since I was a little girl. .
Family dinner where we are all together, sharing laughs, tears and checking in from the day. .
I don't take these moments for granted because for so long, either my hubs or I worked at night because we were struggling to just put groceries on our table. Heck, we didn't even have a table for several years because our little tiny, low income apartment didn't even have room for one. .
Coaching has blessed our lives in so many ways including giving us moments like this, family dinners, where we can all be together, chaos and all.
First off, #theseasonedlife cookbook is awesome! It has a perfect mix of southern and Caribbean recipes that just works in my household. (What can I say, southern girl loves Haitian boy 🇭🇹) Secondly, this sweet pea and herb scallop soup is seriously one of my favorites! Now if only I knew how she got those scallops to sit on top of the soup 🤷🏼♀️ @ayeshacurry #soup#scallops#yummy
#whole30#dinners from the last two nights. Top: spaghetti squash, mushrooms, onions, garlic, tomatoes, and chicken sausage with a side of pineapple. Bottom: Damon, carrot fries w/ homemade ketchup, and green beans. Neither one planned out, but both worked out pretty well!
