If there is anything the devil hates & fights tooth & nil, is becoming the very thing God created, called, chose & prepared you to be.
Sometimes, the resistance to 'destiny' could very well mean, that's God blocking it, because , it was never His Thought nor plan for you.
But other times? Its because, that's exactly what God Almighty wants! And you will be amazed & outraged (of course) at the ridiculous measures, the enemy takes to try to stop you!! But praise be to The One & Only True God, Who causes the Lion of The Tribe of Judah & His Anointing to rise up in us and through us...and for us, as we press on, looking the devil in the eye and saying:
I will yet trust God, because, I have tasted & seen that He Alone is Good! And Infinitely, Totally , Completely & Eternally better than all u have to offer!! Amen!! Still its not necessarily, in an actual encounter, but in the amount of pressure, and often discipline we allow ourselves to imbibe/endure. Just so God maybe glorified.
Can u take the hit? ...The Heat?
If u can, then, gear up, The Win is not too far off!! ...er , if u understand how God calculates times, seasons & days!! Lol!!! Its all in the discipline.
God bless u.
🍉 UPDATE 🍉
This 8 week challenge has been so hard, week 1 I romped it in, did so well, improvements in the gym, solid eating habits & everything... week 2, I was struck by injury which stopped me going to gym and severely demotivated me to eat well too; I started to lose momentum and motivation to keep going. My partner has keep pushing me to keep the motivation and one thing "remember why I started"! It's soooo true as well, when things get tough, when life is stressful, sad, when your heartbroken and breaking down over things you can't control but are happening anyway, and it makes whatever your doing to reach a goal... harder... remember why you started the journey your on.
These past few weeks have been a challenge on a personal level too, friends not being there for me, and I have a dear family member fighting for his life in hospital, everyday is a struggle, but remembering why I began this journey; and realising that it is called a "challenge" not an "easy" will keep me pushing on!
I've decided this week to make some little changes that will hopefully help change it up a bit, make a difference to my journey & overall health:
❗️Cut down coffee; makes me too dehydrated and doesn't often sit well in my tummy ❗️Use my gym time as ME time; spend the time I can allocate to gym working on myself
❗️Drink more water!
❗️Incorporate boxing into my weekly workout; once or twice a week - it will help burn fat, release stress and built up worry and release happy endorphins! We all need more of those
❗️Always be grateful for what I have now! This includes my body, I'm learning to love what I have, whilst still wanting to alter/edit/change it at the same time! I am lucky to have what I have so I am grateful for that! ❤️
I'll post more workouts/meals this week I promise !!! Also if I could ask for all my lovely followers to keep my Grandpa in their prayers, thoughts & send positive vibes his way 💕💕💕 Much appreciated x
All physiques are created twice. First in the brain, and then in the physical world.
You have to know exactly what you want in order to get it.
Visualise it, see it, and believe it.
It's waiting for you.
DANG! How come none of ya'll told me I was getting thick? I thought ya'll loved me? 😥 LOL
2016 VS 2017 and beyond.. Sometimes when you're not taking care of yourself it will show up in different ways through out your body! And it doesn't necessarily mean that you have to consider it YOURS.. it just means that your body is telling you that certain habits you've acquired is not serving you anymore and you have to take some serious actions otherwise your health can be jeopardized!
The last 5 years of have been a roller coaster in regards to my eating patterns, weight management and exercise regimen but I'm very grateful as it has been a learning experience and a great teacher! I'm not so focused on reaching goals anymore, but more so on strengthening my discipline and commitment to pursue a healthier lifestyle! & make these good habits a daily routine just like brushing your teeth or being polite!
Can't wait to share with you guys some more on what I've been up to! Happy Monday!!!! #transformation#healthylifestyle#commitment#discipline#warrior#motivationmondays#intermittentfasting#workouts#exhale#prana#namaste#mantra#chakras#buddha#mudra#om#pranayama#savasana
Today has been a really good day! One of my classes got cancelled, I started day 1 of @gmalefit 's She Who Believes guide ( I love it!), and my diet has been on point today 👌🏼 I feel great! I'm ready to be this consistent with my diet so I can really start seeing some results 🤗 #girlswholift#shewhobelieves#consistency#iam1stphorm
I had the hardest time focusing when I was younger. My mother used to take me out of school to meet with an educational therapist who taught me how to function on an attention deficit personality. I wish I practiced these methods through out my high school years too. I wish I never stopped bc it's so hard to get things done as an adult. I have to literally...oh look a lantern.
Anytime something seems risky like getting into a relationship or ending one, going to uni undecided or taking a year off, or becoming and entrepreneur instead of going corporate, our loved ones loose their minds. .
They are quick to encourage us to take the easier road. This doesn't come from an unsupportive place. Rather, it comes from a place of insecurity and fear. .
You are taking a risk YOU can handle, but they CAN'T handle emotionally and that falls back onto you. .
On your journey I ask that you don't loose your way, because you don't feel supported. I pray that God continues to bless you with the #courage to #persevere , the #wisdom to navigate this life and the #Strength to live your goals everyday. .
