Wake up starving but your morning routine doesn’t leave you much time to grab a bite to eat?
This is a issue I have pretty much every morning.
I would wake up, brush my teethe and out the door on my way to the gym while shoving a couple banana’s down range.
Which is great and all but very little protein in a banana or two so it’s not necessarily helping reach my goals.
Which is why I’ve added Level-1 to my morning routine. Which is a sustained assimilating protein drink to get that protein in quickly.
By doing so, I’m taking myself out of a catabolic state, burning lean muscle that we slip into while sleeping, and back into a anabolic state, so burning carbs and fats, immediately and holding that state until I can get a solid meal in.
So Level 1 is essentially a life saver.

We cannot combat ignorance with more ignorance or hate with more hate. We must move away from stereotypes, generalizations and assumptions. We must educate ourselves on a deeper and wider spectrum. We can’t allow ignorance to continue to thrive generation after generation. We can’t allow the hate to continue to spread like cancer.

I personally don’t really have the discipline for prolonged dieting; my willpower lasts about 4-6 weeks. I mostly use what some refer to as “mini cuts” once or twice a year, to exercise and challenge my will, keep the fat at bay, maintain metabolic flexibility, and prep my body for gains.
This time I went 28 days with one solid meal at the end of the day, supplementing with whey protein, Omega-3s, multivitamins and minerals, and a greens powder. About 5000+ grams of protein powder later I went from 140 to 132 lbs, and am technically no longer “overweight” according to BMI charts 😆.

I can't say it's hard training for a show and being your best while working a lot. However there are many obstacles we must overcome and work around to consistently progress and reach new levels. I don't have the perfect training and diet schedule, I never get to eat on schedule but #noexcuses and #discipline and consistency is what landed me in the @mrolympiallc and the goal remains the same in this which is to always be better than "MY" best because I have yet to see it. 😉
