It was once a home to a mythical bird. From being a folklore, it became a hotspot for those willing to tread a 30-minute descent for pristine cold waters.
This tested my patience in photography. At least 20 people were swimming in this place. I had to hide them without post-processing and without veering away from my intended shot.
Taxi driver waiting for the customer on Khao San Road. There are ton's of signs all over the road, besides that the taxis in Bangkok put some colors on it. Driving on that road by taxi seems a bit difficult, so I went and back by moto.
Back when i started wandering with a camera on hand, i got chills everytime i see this pic in my catalogue. Time flies too fast when we turned 23 😪
I remember planning this trip for so many years but I only made it happen right before i left my country.
Surrounding by fantastic mountain scenery, ethnic minorities with their own culture and breathtaking pass, just make sure to have a motorcycle as your fellow, i would say you will experience the sums up of Vietnams natural beauty.
Obviously not the highest quality shot i've made but always be my favorite one. A truly memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone coming to Vietnam.
Fall in love with someone who can love your soul more than your body.
Fall in love with someone who will love you unconditionally. Who will accept your flaws, imperfections, shortcomings and make you feel that you’re worth having. Who will fight for you despite the difficulties and storms in life. Who will understand you and your insane or annoying mannerisms. Who will pacify you until you become okay. Who will talk to you after a long fight.
Fall in love with someone who will appreciate your efforts, and who will guide you and support you throughout your goals in life. Who will still be with you at the end of the day, who will travel for hours just to see your smile. Who will always be by your side, whatever happens.
Fall in love with someone who will kiss you every time and make you feel that you’re the most significant being in the world. Who will make you feel the sudden rush and sensation inside. Who will serenade you through phone calls until you fall asleep, and greet and text you with long and sweet messages when you wake up.
Fall in love with someone who can be your best friend and a lover at the same time. Who will stay up late with you and talk about random things in life. Who will spend the rest of the day with you, joking around, playing and laughing all day long. Who will never ever get tired of holding your hand and show to everyone how deeply he/she is in love with you.
Fall in love with someone who will forgive you every time. Who will love you first before his/her hobbies, work and anything/anyone else in this world. Who will make your every moment a heavenly bliss. Who will comply his/her promises to you. Who will respect you and your decisions in life.
Fall in love with someone who can love your soul more than your body. Who can eliminate your worries, tears and doubts. Who will never get tired of understanding you. Who will make you happy and feel contented. Who will never fail to amaze you. ❣️
A trip to Unawatuna isn't complete without spending a day at the Unawatuna Beach with its fine sand and clear waters. And if you're thinking of heading down the next trip and looking for accommodations, have a go at @unawatuna_hideaway_hostel and their jungle wonderland. P.S they also took this photo! #citynomads
In picking tea leaves to make green tea, there are three components that must be present: the young, freshly-but-fully-opened leaf that gives color to the tea, the leaf bud above it that gives tea its flavor, and a little piece of stem that gives caffeine to tea.
Our penultimate post of this week's photographer of the week -
Aaron Berkovich - shares his memories of being a pro shooter in China. Today Aaron recalls his voyage deep into one of china's most naturally stunning landscapes... "One midnight landing in Guilin, an hour drive, a dawn river crossing, and a 30 minute hike later, I found myself in Langshi Village. As far as assignments go, this one was particularly exciting. I’d made the trek after connecting with the proprietor of a travel brand which takes old traditional homes, often in ethnic minority villages and transform them into home-stays, offered on the likes of Airbnb. They allow travelers to lodge in homes often older than 200 years, but provide intimate access to connect with locals, try their foods, and get off the beaten path, sometimes in dwellings that date back more than two centuries in age.
Following two days of soaking up Langshi Village's pure rural atmosphere, I continued onto another lodge called Laozhai, in a Yao Ethnicity Village much higher up in the mountains. There I learned the art of making Tofu, fished in a pristine river, hiked up the terraced hills to admire the stars. For any other adventures looking to explore the middle kingdom in a different way, then this must be the way..." to view Aaron’s work https://m.facebook.com/faceslaphk/?hc_location=ufi #amazingview#china#photographer#photographylife#photographyisart#photoshoot#photooftheday#asia#nature#beautyscenery#farm#exploreasia#discoverasia#explorepage#explorerpage#exploretheworld#asian#beautifuldestinations#beautifulday
There are people who are natural storytellers, and Charlie is one of them. Charlie, our @araksateagarden guide, regaled us with an anecdote on how he came to be named Charlie Chan (he has an ID to prove it 😂), stemming from the Chinese astrological belief that in order to have a prosperous life, one's name should have at least 3 syllables. He did a great job keeping us entertained about the tea making industry of Thailand and how the all-handmade processes in Araksa differed from other tea farms.
Here, he is accompanied by another Araksa staff, a Burmese woman in traditional Burmese outfit, as they led us to an afternoon of tea-leaf picking.
