☁️A dark day for the Dark moon 🌚
Each New moon signals the end of one lunar cycle and the beginning of another. So it is always a really nice time to pause, take a look at the state of your life. To assess the parts of your life that are moving you towards your true potential and the parts where you feel stuck. A time when the moon's light is empty in the sky, it's a darkness that supports us on a journey inward to explore the deeper parts of our self.
This dark Moon meets the Sun in Libra ♎ so it's a potent energy that highlights those qualities this zodiac sign calls out. I often imagine Libra as the beautifully, soften spoken, hopelessly romantic lady you might read about in a 19th century novel. Polite, gentle, calm, she seeks to create and support peace and harmony in all of life...within relationships, within nature, within ourselves. And though she is so often known by the scales that represent her, in her eyes there is no separation between self and other. All is one, and all is sacred.
Unlike the gale force winds that moved us - and may continue to move us - through this week, this Air sign brings with it the WINDS OF CHANGE in such a mild and moderate manner that you barely even notice you've been swept somewhere new.
Take some time tonight to meditate as Libras energy floods our atmosphere on where you are right now and where you are headed. What feelings, beliefs, people jar awkwardly with your vision of yourself? Can you be fearless in your encounters with change? Where instead of using energy that depletes, overstimulates or draws you out as you resist a life that is always evolving and person that is always changing, you allow yourself to be carried easily on these winds of change and learn to meet the different versions of yourself along the way. So, meditate tonight for no other reason than to meet the person that you are right and ask yourself "How am I doing?" Leaving you with cosy words for a stormy night by gentle Libran TS Elliot - -We shall not cease from exploration And at the end of our exploring Will be to arrive where we started
And to know the place from the first time •
My final days in Ireland have been full of Irish dance attempts, failed castle visits and so many giggles. Building on a 17 year friendship with @leighhayley and making new memories with @dogonahotwoodroof was just what the doctor ordered. I’m inspired by the way they’re living the dream- Leigh spent time in Italy mastering family recipes so she can open an authentic Italian market in Texas and Emily is a language genius who helps college students in Florence have the best study abroad experience possible- who inspires you?
