The results from @sense.trans.techno are finally online on my website. Find the link in my bio 🙌 many thanks to @manskupansku for the great time and @turbomax5000 for your support! Hope Studio Hotfuk has a great future! 1/3 Phase one: Liquid Lens. Using water filled lenses to adjust focus and focal length. #sensetranstechno#analogfilm#distortion#medium#watercolors#idabk#abkstuttgart
Just arrived at "Lo-Fi Store" (www.lofistore.com) directly from Portland, Oregon USA: - Retro Mechanical Labs 432K Rev2
The 432k Distortion box is all about signal routing. One distortion circuit with an active hybrid diode/transistor ladder filter (with resonant feedback) for tone control. Another with a clean pass signal. Both signals are merged together and “glued” through a transistor drive and op amp style fuzz. A feedback noise circuit is added in for fun. Also equipped with CV in for filter control. ***Use a CV to control the filter.
Things I enjoy about this pedal:
Hyper Fuzz tone
Hybrid Diode/Transistor ladder filter.
Enhanced resonant feedback for more expressive tones
Clean pass lets you bring a quality signal back into the compressed distortion
Op Amp style fuzz at end of signal chain. Dial in harsh tones and smooth them out.
Great for guitars and keyboards
CV filter control. Use CV in to control filter with modular gear, synth or CV pedal.
Low cut toggle for guitar use.
True Bypass • Knob controls:
Distortion: Volume of Distortion
Filter: Filter Frequency
Resonance: Active resonant feedback
Clean: Clean signal
Low Cut: low end roll off
Transistor: Transistor gain/drive
Op Amp: Op Amp Fuzz
Feedback: Noise loop (works best with sequenced sounds)
Output: Volume **Requires a regulate 18volt DC Supply. Standard negative tip with a min of 150ma. (not included) Will run on 12volts for a dirtier sound. Lower voltage will affect the smoothness of the filter.
I shot this back when I was a senior in high school and really struggling with an eating disorder. Can you tell? Again, art as therapy ... I couldn't talk about what was happening with me yet I could express myself through pictures. Sometimes the same thing happens to me even now - I find that deep feelings are often easier to express through art.
I recently restored this pix from an old print I found ... It had actually won some photography contest for kids back in the day in the category 'Reflection.' Fitting. This print originally had fixer spilled all over the bottom left hand corner when I uncovered it - I was so sloppy and didn't care about my things at all back then (and to be honest not much has changed LOL). But thank goodness for Photoshop, eh?
