wdyt about lgbt? I think if you don't have any relative who experienced it, you will feel disgust, hate, and etc. But on the other hand if you see and experience yourself having such a relative or friends, you will surely understand.
So don't be a racist and narrow minded person. Instead, just try and pray to make the world peace.
😍😎🙌🏼💪🏼👊🏼❤️ #loveislove#lovewins#love#diversity#human#humanity#colors#colorful#loveisallyouneed#imagine#pride#pride2017#prideweekend#behuman#betrue#beyou#equalityforeveryone#equality

Do you know about Urban Seed and their winter appeal? If you're anything like me, you also believe that homelessness is something we must care very much about. How can we help, support and make a difference in some way to those who are really doing it tough and living rough. If you're in Melbourne, we're fully moving into winter now. I know many people think more about homelessness in our cold months as it feels impossible to imagine what it would be like to not have the simple luxuries that we all do. Just imagine and picture what life might be like for someone living rough when we switch on our central heating and enjoy our homes and warm food. So many things that we take for granted in our very blessed lives. We can all contribute in some way and give to make a difference. There are many ways we might choose to be involved or volunteer. Urban Seed is a community development organisation that believes everyone needs a place to belong - especially those experiencing homelessness and social disadvantage. They have been gathering around food, recreation, and creative art for more than 20 years. It's an organisation I truly know make a difference in others lives. Their winter appeal is a great way to give and get involved. You can also read about Debbie's story and realise just how much community support is needed for so many! Please consider giving to this appeal. Their website is www.urbanseed.org and you can find them on FB too as Urban Seed. Your gift will make a big difference Xx
Last night the Amnesty International Victoria family celebrated Eid - the end of Ramadan - at our Action Centre with delicious food prepared by the Mother of one of our Volunteers. We met the Masterchef and listened to some fascinating stories about her homeland and experiences in Australia.
We are very lucky to have such a diverse team of people eager to learn about other cultures and keen on sharing their own traditions.
We are looking forward to more multicultural events in the future!
A big thank you to Venus and her family for the fantastic dishes!
On the 8th of July we will be breaking some serious barriers. Entrepreneurs wear dresses, jeans, hijabs, they are old and young, black and white, religious or secular. Adelaide is a city of innovation.
Creatives are professionals. Blogging is business. We are Adelaide's game changers.

Shamnad Basheer writes on the pilot #CHAMPS workshop by a law school: "Nirma Institute of Law becomes the first law school to pilot IDIA's vision of CHAMPS. Just finished a session with their super enthusiastic faculty on how to create CHAMPS (lawyers that are #Creative , #Holistic , #Altruistic and Maverick Problem Solvers). And spoke about using #innovative pedagogical techniques such as "Theme" based learning and the building of "semantic trees" (popularised by Elon Musk). Given our penchant at IDIA for slogans and acronyms (Modi style pserhaps?), we call this new pedagogy:"T-FLIP" (Theme based, Flipped, Inter-disciplinary and Poly-centric Linked Learning, where each unit of learning has multiple sites of enquiry and is more "divergent" than "convergent"). But techniques aside, I cautioned that we first need to focus on motivating our students and instilling in them a sense of perspective and purpose (what the Japanese refer to as "Ikigai"). Once we do the latter, we don't need to "teach" that much. The students will teach themselves! We simply have to ensure that we don't stand in their way. I repeat: Don't stand in their way!" #education#diversity#inclusion#IDIALaw
