You may not agree with what happened this past Sunday, or maybe you do. Either way, it's polarized a problem that needed to be addressed. This administration, and our own president, have taken steps repeatedly to divide us as a nation. As a whole, swings have been taken at civil rights. The elderly. Healthcare. A great American past time. All it seems to have accomplished, to me anyway, is draw more dividing lines between us, the people of the United States, and opened up wounds that have taken decades to heal. Now more than ever, with the country in debt, states that are beyond poor, the threat of treason being tossed around, N. Korea becoming a nuclear power, and the middle East not far behind attaining their own nuclear arsenal, we need to stand together. To find some common ground as one people, one nation, one country, string together. j.c.s.
