Finished up the #pokemon#fandom map of Kanto region this morning. I had a new type of paper that I loved and hated. But I think I'll be switching back to the normal kind I use. Next project is a home brew campaign for @thenemeanbeard
The end of 2nd edition saw the death of the boxed set. Once plentiful campaign settings and supplements were forever relegated to the realm of hardbacks... almost all remaining boxes would be starter sets. 3rd edition's Basic Game was one of several different starters released in various forms throughout the 3E era. As starters go, it's pretty decent... plenty of books with an easy start option, some modular dungeon tiles and a selection of pre-painted minis, including the baby black dragon on the cover. The back cover has a great throw-back feel to it, reminiscent of the old TSR ads with the kids sitting around the table. #dungeonsanddragons#advanceddungeonsanddragons#adnd#dnd#dandd#dnd3#dnd3e#rpg#tabletoprpg#roleplayinggame
[2:2] Southern Yoso Sea:
"Appeasing the Water Spirit"
When the storm had passed the wizard and half-orc went back onboad.
The dwarf was asleep — exhausted from the backstab and not being able to clean his hands of the black film that reeked of rotted fish and dirtied everything he touched — while the cleric watched over him.
The wizard, Tas'ryn, magically mended the sail which the half-orc, Mongke helped hoist along with a crew member.
Afterwards, Tas found a quiet place to read, and Mongke, a place to think things over.
After a while something caught Mongke's eye — a large drop of water suspended in mid-air.
The drop moved closer and as it bumped into him, 4 more appeared.
When the contact from the drop began to physically hurt he called for the wizard, and they disposed of them all — yet more kept coming.
The cleric, Abigail, and Kurah Ka, the dwarf, joined, and upon surveying the surroundings Abigail noticed a large watery being that was likely the cause.
The half-orc had been in contact with elemental spirits before and knew that they would sometimes appear to cleanse their surroundings of a polutant, and considering he was the only one being attacked it would have to do with his transformation issue.
The wizard, who was the best negotiator, began arguing for their pusuit to rid the evil, while the others did their best to shield and heal the half-orc.
Not long after, the spirit dispersed and they could continue on their way towards Gesenda.

We'd like to welcome Zac Parker, Sam Quinton, and their podcast, Board at Work, to the Minionworks Podcasting Network!
What's it about? Well, in their own words:
William - "We talk about games. Role-playing games, computer games, board games and card games. We interview people involved in various aspects of the game industry, customers, artists, developers, current game designers and legends of game design in the past. We enjoy what we do and so will you." Zac - "The Board at Work podcast is like...the best show. Dude, it’s so totally awesome. We talk to like...gamers and stuff." Board at Work becomes our first affiliated podcast that's NOT an actual-play - part of our plan to diversify and bring you content that isn't all Pixie STDs, pie-eating, goat-loving, and sadistic amusement park rides.
Not that there's anything wrong with those things, mind you.
You can check out the first seven episodes of Board at Work by visiting their website at www.bdatwork.com. Starting next Tuesday, you'll get updates here on our Facebook page whenever a new episode is released.
Say howdy and check 'em out, folks!

Morthos has been drugged by Stolove, an elf who he thought was flirting with him. The drugs made him experience a fever dream in which he found himself in an abandoned mansion. In here he was burned in the face by a Magmin, beaten by a ton of other monsters and gotten a serious finger infection from a Violet Fungus. He also found a mirror in which he saw Nefras, and the guy cursed the boy into pulp. Down to his last HP and emotionally drained, he found a Homunculus. It was the first creature he considered a friend in years 😊 (also he's got pixie dust in his hair, talk about fabulous)
