I always knew I wanted to be a Mom but the title of being a wife never seemed significant. There were no day dreams of wedding dresses or flowers, just the baby I would tote on my hip like the greatest accessory. With my personality being naturally stubborn and set in my ways, the thought of sharing my life with an equal sounded too complicated. The thought of needing someone made my overly independent brain quiver.
Fortunately for me they aren’t kidding when they say when you meet “the one” you will know. While at the time I completely underestimated what being someone’s wife truly meant, I knew I didn’t want to see a day without him in it.
While I consciously and subconsciously did everything I could to keep my guard up, he waited on the other side. His concrete routines have been a challenge for my spontaneity but every day we see the benefit of accepting our differences and letting them compliment each other.
We have grown together. We have learned what it means to be a team even when it’s hard. We are one. We have learned it’s not only ok but an absolute privilege to truly live for someone else. There is no greater peace than knowing a consistent love and partnership.
My arms are full of little humans like I always dreamed they would be but my greatest accessory will always be him. The one who chooses everyday to love me unconditionally and I him. I am forever thankful that God chose him and he chose me.
For so long I was hesitant😒 to use the products and join the business. We were broke and I did not have extra money to throw away. But then I thought🤔, "What if?" With faith the size of a mustard seed🌰 we signed up.
We fell in 😍love with the products and how they were changing lives and even more in love❤️ with the business that was setting people free.
And now, 4️⃣ years later our lives are forever changed. And it's all because we took a chance and didn't let our fears and doubts keep us from our destiny💥. You may feel😣 stuck right now. You may feel hopeless😢 thinking about having to be at a job you hate or all the debt💳 you have piling under you or being away from your kids👶🏻👬 when you wish you could be 🏡home.
Believe me, that's where we were. But WHAT IF there was another way? WHAT IF this actually works? WHAT IF a year🗓 from now you didn't even recognize your life because you said YES today?! 💚You have nothing to lose but everything to gain💚
If you are ready to say YES to life, message📲 me or text me at 479-886-4491.
I will be here every step of the way and show you what I did to bring my family financial freedom.
Today I’m thankful she reminds me to do things my later self will thank me for. My to-do list is never ending but these moments will. One day she will be too big and too cool to sit on Moms lap. So for now I will hold her for as long as she lets me.
Starting in January 2018, I will be offering more one-on-one and partner adaptive life skills coaching sessions. The goal of adaptive life skills coaching is increased independence for our friends with special needs! Interested or have questions? Shoot me a message or email and let's set a date to chat!
Today, we are #thankful for #PurposefulProgramming that creates #BestofAll moments like this…
We are so very proud of all of the adaptive athletes from yesterday’s 2017 @battleofthebarbells #CrossFit competition, including our very own @gigisplayhousenashville athlete, Josh! His hard work definitely paid off yesterday! Josh participates in @gigisplayhousenashville and @crossfitprovita's partnership program, Friends, Fun, & Fitness at CrossFit Pro Vita (FFF at CPV). FFF at CPV is an adaptive fitness program that promotes physical fitness and facilitates social interaction and positive peer relationships through purposeful physical activities for adolescents and adults. We are incredibly #grateful for dedicated program participants like Josh and for our amazing Program Leaders and volunteers like @laurenmarieatkinson, @kait_russ, and all of the other CrossFitters who volunteer to work out with our teens and adults on Thursdays at FFF at CPV! 👏💪🏋️
“I’ll just start by saying WOW! A new experience for us and Josh rocked it! All the athletes did awesome. It’s a such a joyous day when people tell you and then let your son show you that he can do this. We as parents of children with a disability get told too much about what they can’t do or may not be able to do. They can, they will, they must. ❣️ Thank you, GiGi’s Playhouse, for exposing us to CrossFit and thank you to Lauren, Kaitlyn, Tessa, and all the volunteers!” – Kay, Josh’s mom

It seriously took me over 30 minutes to choose the 3 photos I have here. Her account is amazing, she is amazing! Absolutely beautiful inside and out. I can definitely see her being anything she wants in life, be it a model, a dancer, or in her words a famous makeup artist. I have no doubts whatever she chooses to do it will happen. So please visit her page and show this beautiful girl some love ❤ like and follow her account. Please read⬇
Time to get serious. Please read. This week, in the news on CBS, you might see that Iceland is "eliminating Down syndrome". Actually they're just killing everyone who has it. They are saying that people with Down syndrome don't deserve to be alive. They are saying that MY life is not worthy and I should have been murdered before I was born. They are saying that kids like me are suffering and we'd be better off dead. .
I am not suffering. Yes, it takes me longer to do some of the things my friends do, and yes I have to work really hard to keep up sometimes, but that has made me stronger! I am a teenager who loves makeup, and clothes, and shoes and purses! I love to dance and model! I love to hang out with my family and friends! I love to listen to music and watch @officiallybratayley on YouTube. I love my life!! I'm so glad that I wasn't born in Iceland or another country that sees my life as sad and worthless because to me, every day is an adventure and I live my life to the fullest! One day I hope to be a makeup artist and be famous in Hollywood! I want to get married and live in my own home. I have hopes and dreams just like you, and I will work hard to achieve them. @cbstv needs to look at the lives of me and my friends and see that Down syndrome is not a life sentence. It's part of who I am... and I love me. Special shoutout to @patriciaheaton for standing up for all of us with Down syndrome. #downsyndrome#downsyndromeawareness#inthenews#cbs#iceland#imworthit#lovemylife#morealikethandifferent#theluckyfew#advocate#selfadvocacy#selfadvocate#dontlimitme#eliminatingdownsyndrome#igkid repost via @instarepost20 from @kennedyjean04
That one time I went to take a picture of my girl and her cute outfit and just at that moment she bent down to lick a pine cone. Thankful today for her curiosity even when it involves unnecessary germs. #thankfulnovember#butwhy
Today I am Thankful to have found the perfect fit for daycare for Ms Amelia. We have been lucky enough to have Gammy’s, Papa’s, Mema’s, uncles and very loved sitters that came to our house for the first three years of Amelia’s life. The thought of sending her somewhere outside the home was so scary. Today she loves to go to Ms Tina’s and see all of her friends who cheer “Amelia’s here!!” When she walks through the door.
