So ihr Lieben😊Wir sind schon halb auf der Piste. Deswegen gibt es schnell noch Teil 2 zum Thema Essstörungen. Das sehr heikle Thema betrifft mehr Menschen, als man denkt - nicht im so genannten Vollbild, aber essgestörte Verhaltensweisen zeigen leider echt viele. Auch ich nehme mich in den Hochzeiten meines "Fitnesswahns" davon nicht aus. Auch ich habe mich öfter mal schuldig gefühlt, wenn ich mir etwas gegönnt habe und auch heute noch verbiete ich mich manchmal Etwas zu essen, weil ich denke, ich wäre zu dick. So Tage hat jeder MAL. Jeder fühlt sich MAL "Bäh" - klein - dick - unmuskulös. Ich denke jeder findet sich darin wieder.
Wichtig ist, meiner Meinung nach dabei, dass man sich selbst beobachtet und reflektiert. Denn nimmt genau dieses Denken überhand, wird man durch die Verbote immer dünner - oder verfällt man zunehmend in "Fressattacken" wird es gefährlich. Dann ist es Zeit für professionelle Hilfe!
Ich weiß nicht wie hoch die Dunkelziffer genau ist, aber alleine wenn man hier auf Insta schaut, wie viele traurige, abgemagerte Mädels versuchen sich ein Grinsen mit leeren Augen in der schönsten Pose abzuringen und ihre ausgezehrten Körper zur Schau stellen. Diese, und Jene, die dabei noch Fitness- oder Ernährungstipps geben. All diese Leute haben den Bezug zum gesunden Essen längst verloren. Das ist meiner Meinung nach super fragwürdig so als "Vorbild" zu agieren. Genau deswegen halte ich so viel vom ausgewogenen Essen. Und zwar ganz bewusstes Essen. So und nun genug der Morampredigt 🙊

Convenience is one of the main focus in our business. When I was a member of a big box gym I had to park in a separate parking structure with several flights of stairs and was limited to 90 mins of free parking. If I went over which I often did, I had to pay $1 or $2 everytime. It also added more time I was away from my family while I look for a parking spot and walk to and from the gym. 
#anytimefitnessglendaleca offers free private parking just for our members right next to our gym. We also have free street parking as well. Definitely more convenient and you will thank us especially after a killer leg day. =)

Convenience is one of the main focus in our business. When I was a member of a big box gym I had to park in a separate parking structure with several flights of stairs and was limited to 90 mins of free parking. If I went over which I often did, I had to pay $1 or $2 everytime. Every day is SQUATS day in SQUATOBER. But today was much more as it was full on motherfucking LEG DAY!!

Went heavy this morning after warming up with 135. Got 2 sets at 185 & 225, five reps each set. Then 2 sets at 245, 1 for 5 reps the other for 3. Finished off squats with 2 reps at 275. Been quite some time since I've went that high. Got to get back in 300 club.

Followed that up by hitting the Hack Squats machine for 5x10. Then hit leg press for 7x10. Lastly it was leg extensions for 4x15. Another successful LEG day for sure.

I usually don't include isolation exercises in my #training. I always do compound exercises because they mobilize more muscle mass and cause a major metabolic stress. But when you have a #muscle that refuces to grow or is weak, you can isolate him to strengthen him, reduce imbalances and improve your performance in the compound movements. Remember: a muscle group is as strong as his weakest link.

If you had told me 3 years ago that my favourite exercises to train would be squats and deadlifts I'd have laughed at you, but leg days are now by far my most satisfying training days and provide my own and my clients best results! 💪💪 Squats and deads and other big compound movements that utilise multiple joints should be integral to everyones plan whatever the goal, be it weight loss, muscle growth or strength, we should all strive towards these movements due to the massive benefits they provide 😁

These movements, alongside an accurate plan and progressive overload are key to progress due to the amount of stress they put on the largest muscles in the body. Work harder, see better results!! 😎

Obviously we cant all dive straight in at these and there are steps to take beforehand to ensure the correct form and muscles are used to avoid injury. If you are not sure what you are doing get someone who knows to show you or invest in a coach! o	Equipment:Dumbbell
o	Mechanics Type:Compound
o	Level:Beginner
o	Sport:No
o	Force:Pull 
Instructions
1.	Grab a Dumbbell with your right hand and adopt a slightly wider than shoulder width stance. Take hold of the dumbbell with a neutral grip and stand upright with the weight in front of you. This will be your starting position.
2.	To initiate the movement, inhale and bend at your knees and hips so that your thighs are parallel to the floor. At the same time bring the dumbbell between your legs and push your hand towards the floor to emphasise the power generated in your legs.
3.	Immediately after doing this, exhale and use this power to drive through your heels, thighs and hips to pull the dumbbell to head height with your arm remaining at full extension however rotating the dumbbell so you now have an overhand grip (palm facing the floor). 4.	Inhale and return the dumbbell along the same path back between your legs as you squat into the next repetition.
5.	Repeat for the recommended amount of repetitions and swap sides. 
Variations: One-Arm Kettlebell Swings or Cleans.
