The 2017 Rotary Craft Show is this Saturday, where 50,000 people decend upon the streets of Lititz. This is your Survival Guide (stolen from our Facebook page)...it's a must read, but we are not responsible if you spit your drink all over your phone, computer or tablet. Also this guide is so informative that it continues into the comments. ENJOY!
Craf show time is upon us, and like the dark storm clouds looming on the horizon, followed by the annoying alert flashing across your TV screen or on your phone to let you know danger is imminent, this is our annoying flashing alert and sarcasm riddled "How to Survive the Craft Show Weekend" 2017 version in preparation for Saturday's show…… We said it last year, and we'll say it again this year, if you're a Lititz resident and you're not fond of the high volume of traffic this event brings to our town, EVACUATE, and preferably before Saturday morning. Our suggestion, take a one day bus tour somewhere fun, go to the mall(it's that place people used to buy things before Amazon), go hiking, take a day trip to the beach and bring us back some Salt Water Taffy and Caramel Popcorn. Return around dinner time or later and it will be like nothing ever happened.
If you're a resident and you do decide to stick around and you're not fond of the crowds or high traffic, don’t be the grumpy person on the block sticking their head out of the front door mean mugging the jolly consumers as they walk by on their way to the show……keep yourself tucked inside your house, batten down the hatches, board up your windows, close the blinds, lock the doors, go to the grocery store Friday night, make sure your Internet, Cable, and Netflix accounts are all squared away for a full day of mindless binge watching and just RELAX! Need suggestions, we recommend Live PD, The First 48, or the Police Academy movies!

Candy*ology just posted this on Facebook: "After 6 years of selling "sugar & happiness" to young and old alike, retirement is on the horizon. We are beginning the search for a new owner for Candy*ology that has the same dedication and passion for candy and the community." Sharing for anyone interested 🍭🍬

Enjoying one last cup of hot coffee while I enjoy the amazing morning light @thehettyhouse, listening to some Civil Wars on the @sonos house sound system. This staycation is one for the memory books, and one we hope to make a regular occurrence.
